[Ohio] Class is now in session

One day I'll come to AL, I swear lol. I don't work Thursdays anymore, but I keep getting drunk and stuff instead. I'll probably show up at some point before NEC so I can get some offline practice before hand.
 
Delicious alcohol when confronted is a mighty foe indeed. Haha. No worries on not being able to make it up to AL for Fight Night there Fukou. Hope to see ya up there sometime soon & get some matches in with ya my good sir.
 
Got finals next week, so I won't be going to Ranbats this weekend. There maybe a chance that I will go Thursday, but not a people will pop up on a Fight Night before a Ranbat weekend. We'll just have to see what happens.

UPDATE: I seem to be ahead of my studies a lot more than I thought, there MIGHT be a chance I come Saturday. Despite the "blueprints" for the tests, I'm not underestimating the finals, so I can't make any promises to come.

FINAL final exam day tomorrow! A little worried about Medical-Surgical, but it shouldn't be too bad. Wish me luck!

I hope sometime soon I can get my happy ass up to AL. These 10 hour, 7 days work weeks are kicking my ass. I'm ecstatic about getting to head to the arcade & play some fighting games again. I miss that shit, but making that money is a must.
 
I'll be heading to AL for a bit on Saturday from 12 pm to about 4 pm for Christmas Combat before I go into work that night. Hope to see some peeps there for some games.

I'm coming down Thurs. and a few of my friends from my nursing class are coming! I don't think they're the gaming type, but they all were curious about the arcade and wanted to have some fun. They all have work though, so they might arrive at about 9 or so. See you guys there!
 
I'll be at the Legacy Virus on Saturday. I don't know if there will be any stations open for us to play SCV, but I'll be there.

I don't know if I'll be there Thursday or not. It's a possibility, but Tales of Symphonia Chronicles...
 
So! Brutality, this Saturday. We have a guaranteed 1 hour timeslot from 3PM to 4PM for a SCV exhibition. If we can get Sluch or Ragnarok to show up, I'm planning to hold a King of the Hill kind of thing, with whoever of the two shows up starting at the top of said hill. The rest of us will take them on in 3/5 matches. The loser of each match goes to the back of the line. The winner becomes or remains King of the Hill. If we can't get either of them, we'll just run a tournament on stream.

EDIT: We got Sluch, so our King of the Hill thing is happening.

I'm pretty hype for the King of the Hill Exhibition at Brutality this Saturday. It's from 3pm to 4pm for the SC5 slot on the stream. Hope everyone can make it.

Good times chilling with everyone there at AL for Brutality & getting some Soul Calibur in. Good games to Ryan, Trent, Kam, & Will in SC5, & good games to Ryan in SC4.

Well there's no one who plays in Indy as far as I can tell, so I was recommended this thread. Kind of fitting since I was born in Ohio
 
What's happening Dope?

In terms of SC5 happening up in Indy, I don't think anyone plays Calibur there at all. I know my friends in Bloomington, IN used to play a lot, but I don't think they do anymore since most of them play TTT2 now.

As far as SC5 goes in Ohio, we definitely play in Cincinnati. We usually meet up at Arcade Legacy. We usually all go up to the arcade on Thursdays for Fight Night from 5 pm to 1 am to play games. We also meet up on Saturdays sometimes on occasion for tournaments that go on there, & just to randomly have sessions sometimes. We actually had a SC5 King of the Hill Exhibition at the Brutality event at Arcade Legacy just a few weeks ago. It was really hype & a lot of fun.

If you can't make the drive, a decent amount of us do play SC5 online. Do you play on PS3 or XBox there Dope? If you're on PS3, we should get some games in sometime then.

Mike, if you're free, we should go to Rooster's on April 26 during Old School Onslaught 8. Which beer do you recommend I try first? I also just realized I can now sit on the high chair booths. Well, I sure feel like a grown-up now, LOL.
