As far as we know, nope. Seriously. LS (as of now) has no form of multiplayer either online or offline.

That isn't to say they won't introduce a token system or something to make us pay for online multi later -_-

It's much more fun to show off your custom characters with your friends online, not everyone goes to message boards and posts screen shots of their stuff.. xD

And that appealing to gamers with "FREE" games when their aren't even free, they're just a "FREE DEMO", (like all demos are free..) they're just going to charge the hell out of you for everything in the game.

I don't think gamers have fallen to that level yet where we're a bunch of broke ass players who need a game for free just to get interested in it. Make a side story game like Chronicles of The Sword, everything is offline, and retail it for $25. If people don't want to pay $20 for a side-story game, then they aren't worth selling games to anyways.... =P Let them go buy a friggin $2 Indie game. I want Namco to make TONS of money, so they can keep making great games... >:D

With the way CAS is presented in such a cheesy and gimmicky fashion I rather this F2P edition emphasize on their own original SC character roster.

Not to mention that 3/4 of the missing story Daishi so-promised long time ago.
 
Lets get Maxi and Li Long to team up together and have a Mario Bros event there. Then a scene of Ivy and Taki showing their true emotions. Because we know what we want and no amount of perverted fan art will get us there.

Wait, what? Okay, aside from what I've seen with the trailer, I'm hoping that the missing characters make it in. Sophitia's already in, and if she can make it back (despite being dead in canon), all of them can come back.

Its meaningless because thats pretty much all my group does with SC games. We make characters and play each other with them. When I want to make pretty pictures and not functional characters, I use Daz Studio, not Soul Calibur.

Dark navy suit rather than green though, and his emblem armor is brown rather than yellow.... close enough
 
Looks like fun. Cool to see Sophitia back in all her glory. I suppose other characters we haven't seen in a while will come around too? Maybe Pat and Pyrrha will join their mother. I'm not entirely disappointed its single player since its free, and if I wanted to play against someone, I have SC5. I'm more interested to see returning characters shine again. And equipping them with Critical Edges will be nice too.
 
Wait...If Sophitia is in the game, what happens to Elysium and Pyrrha Omega (Oprah)??? I mean doesn't her inclusion in the roster make them obsolete?

Elysium is a mimic, so no worries. Pyrrha Omega... Well, they look alike, but it wouldn´t be the first time that we have 2 similar characters in a SC. Otherwise, they just cut Pyrrha Omega, hope they don´t do the same with cute Pyrrha.


If you worry about story, this game may not have it, we still don´t know.

I am not particularly worried about the story...but in the case of Pyrrha Omega it just seems like Sophitia has her beat except for MAYBE damage although she has TAS B and what seems to be a (super?) tech crouch launcher based off of her old unblockable, 4 B+K.
 
I want to say that Omega won't be in and Pyrrha will stay. But I think its still too early to say anything. I think we can expect Zas and Pat, though. Probably Setsuka as well and not Alpha. Of course I don't have any proof but it's just a hunch. Hopefully we'll get more info and characters soon, then we can see what direction they're going. Maybe they'll add more characters down the road. Big plus if they're free like Tekken Revolution.

They have literally confirmed that they are catering this game to casuals who love to play dress up and hate losing and now you are complaining about it???
