how could it even be a tech trap? 66A+B doesn't exactly cause a groundslide or anything on airhit

lol, since i've playing online. i haven't lost with algol yet... i guess people just dont know how to deal with his bubbles.

but I have a question, when they start to side step your 4[A+B] bubbles and they are not in range for you to 22_88 A them. should I 41236 A them? what should I do?

and how well does 41236 K track?

Qflip A is ok but dont get to predictable cause its high i also like 3AA in that situation

plus qflip A +2 on block
 
finally went back to the Algol lab and found a couple things of interest (to me at least)

- FC 3B tracks algol's right side consistently as long as you aren't too far away
- 1K can induce run counter which is cool, but it's tracking is highly inconsistent
- FC 8 far block is +7 or more advantage. it seems there are actually 3 zones. close is +3, far is +7, perfect tip is +8 or more. quite nifty I think.

the idea is to get 33B/99B to hit the front of the hit box.buffer 33B/99B from a dash,taunt,or
otherwise.basicly you want to side step as little as possible and then 4A+B will super launch and you will be able to hit them with 8A+K BBBB
works on(crouching and standing): hilde,asta,X,setsuka,cassandra,raphael,yun,

does not work on: taki,kilik,cervy,ivy,amy,sophie,lizzard man,mitsu,tira JS(wait WTF?),seong mina,talim,yoshi,zas

happens inconsistently:voldo,maxi,tira GS

i did not include sig,rock, and nighty because of the fact we already have huge combos for them
im convinced it has more to do with hit boxes then timing

i have not tested weather this super launch can lead to 6A+Bx2 8A+B 4A+Bx3 aB 11b

Algol = Great, I don't find him cheap at all. I really like fighting algol players. it's like trying to run an obstacle course.

doing what i said delays the second bubble of 4A+B hitting

66666633B 4A+B (first bubble hits) 8A+K (second bubble hits) BBBB

Just a little question does any1 else use 33k 66A+G? Lol i tried it and its suprising how many times it catches ppl out the 33k leaves them standing back up and they'll usually think to block rather then attack. I think you can slightly buffer 66A+G but not as early as normal buffers. Also i barely know what im talkng about but are there any other moves which lead to good 66A+G mixups and any times it can be buffered?

didnt know you could use 22b but i think 11a is a better option. If you do hit them with the 22b and they tech forward (i think if they tech back it just bounces them a bit and other directions miss not fully sure) and are left in the stun then a funny thing to do is 2A+B aB 11a 2A+B aB 11b. They get hit into the wall on smaller stages after the aB (like tower of remeberence spiral of time) and it takes off over 3/4 of their hp.

Same for 6kk

You can actually use 11a after many aBs from other combo's sometimes it can be blocked (although they probably won't) and sometimes it can't and tech traps. Pretty funny cause you can often take off most of sum1s health and they won't have a chance to do anything.

Meh yh it is pretty slow i guess. Altho online i mainly hit people with it on wakeup as a techtrap and dodging highs then i do just pulling it out of the blue - it is pretty slow. Funny thing to do on wake up is 22a and 11a funny how ppl mistake them since they're sumwat similar animations xD. But getting sum1 with 1b 2A+B aB then 11a really is the sh*t lol.

algol has block strings try this:

FC 8B(at tip) 623ABK 22B 2B+K

these are all + frame moves its kinda hard to interrupt although 2B+K isnt

i guess its a nice soul crush string

also i trained most people to block after all these moves by using them as frame traps with 3B qflip B and BB
 
so is it wrong to spam 11A online?
I pick Algol when i see someone playing the Rugi... because i show no mercy to Rugis and i spam bubbles and 11A all night longgggggg. because you see... i HATE the Rugi... >_<
