Left 4 Dead

I havn't seen these Riot Zombies but I did read up on them.

Very nice addition. Im really liking how this game is shaping up, with new infected. To be honest, I thought the survivors were going to be able to bulldoze through the game in an improved L4D1 fashion.(Fire ammo, Adrenaline, Ammo packs). But the zombie answers are looking sweet. VS mode is going to be beastly-er!

Also keep in mind that the ammo packs mean less health packs because they take up the same slot. Safe rooms aren't going to spawn with 4 health packs most of the time either anymore. I've heard adrenaline completely replaces pills but reporters might have been mistaken. If that's the case they heal for less than the pills do.

I know, and ALL these changes bring a smile to my face.

no longer have that safety net of having 4 health packs guaranteed is one of my personal, favorite changes. As it encourages exploration of areas you'd usually avoid and I'm all for that. Also encourages more decision making when there are simply not enough health packs, pills, or adrenaline shots to go around.

I also saw a new weapon in action recently, the grenade launcher. All I can say for infected teams in VS against teams that find that, poor tank :( It basically looked like a pipe bomb/propane tank explosion...I believe we all know what happens to Mr.Tank when he's hit with those.

I read somewhere, that the Adrenaline gives 20 health and its added benefits. Pills are still around, but Im sure people will be searching for whatever they can find.

They had a lot of new footage on GTTV last week of both L4D2 and Crash Course. You can check it out Here. Hopefully they'll put the unedited footage up sometime this week.

Oh, and they mentioned a Katana will be one of the melee weapons.
 
Well, My 360 red ringed. And it was one of those newer models too. I'm on the fence about actually getting it repaired since I've already made up my mind on getting a PS3 Slim here over the next week or so. (before it RROD'd me)

So no L4D 360 time for me for a while, possibly anymore as MS's xbrix has failed on me, this being the 4th time.

So, heres to me playing L4D2 on PC.

I didn't think it would be under that warrenty since mine is an XBA model with that new chip in it...but it is covered, so yeah. Waitin on the Box and shipping label to arrive.

Still, its just gonna happen again and again... L4D2 all around anyways!

Also the PC version is just damn better. Updates quicker (You know it's true!), better control scheme(Mouse and Keyboard allow for better controls, EFF YOU PAD PEOPLE), and just flat out more options floating about (Have you or any XBOX player ever played Hyrule? Deadstone? or even the Hunter Jump Map?).

MJ, I have this on PC. If you see me on L4D...JUMP ME!

The one time I played VS. on PC...I was kicked. Yeehaw. Once I remember joining Panda's game and my PC...re-booting for no reason when I plugged my mic in. I only played one custom map, RE3 inspired one. Never got those custom skins to work...FUCK. And Im trying really hard to get this "wsad" shit down...Dear fuck christ. I think of everything, its fucking strafing that gets me owned on PC. I break down in weakness and enable my fucking 360 pad and Im "back in da game!", never missing a fucking beat and running circles around Tanks n Witches...try to man up and hit the KnM....fuuuuck, I can't dance no more cause Im searching for a goddamn key! FUCK!

My favorite game, and I rarely play it lately...fuck. Yeah, Xbox gonna get repaired...Im off Saturday...if any ya'll PC guys see me on L4D...TF2, get me in a game! New Crash Course is coming soon. And I'll most likely be on PC for its launch since the Xbox is gonna be away.
 
Yo Rek my brother plays L4D sometimes on the PC so if you see my name on it, send an inv or something. Hes always bitching about the crappy pub players.
