WTF Evo Japan is like Evo Vegas, so Big event for Fighting games Tournaments lol

So lot of fighting games tournaments are gonna be in Evo Japan lol and a SCV tournament will be one of them.

Well, if they are using all their resources to advertise their super edition for DBZ, they're really bad at it, 'cause I haven't seen it anywhere.

These are the kind of information you find only if you decide to look into the game that interests you. You don't need 10 people to advertise juste one game, two or three are more than enough (that's why we get news for different games and not only DBZ).

No, it's not about announcing a game, it's making a huge announcement about a game so early into its "revealed" development cycle. The game was announced a month ago. If you want a huge reveal, wait for a huge event. That's all I'm saying.

The game was confirmed to be released this year regardless, and its been in development for a long time, in addition for it to be in a solid state from what we see in the gameplay videos. You're not gonna debate because you don't have an argument, there is no reason for them to not release information about the game, specially after leaving us in the dark for a long time after the reveal.

They said the game is 70% done, though, so it's reasonable to think they should have more to show by now. Granted, we are seeing something new in a couple of days, if it's only two characters and one stage, for instance, that's a little underwhelming.
 
It would be better if they did a big reveal that wasn't at a fighting game tournament in Japan, but whatever stirs y'all's grits.

Why wait for a huge event? There's no reason news about a game should only be revealed during events, otherwise we wouldn't get daily news about games, no matter the genre.
And we don't know anything about its development, other than it's 70% done. We could be giving tiny bits of info every now and then (like many games do: reveal one character or stage every two or three weeks).

There also are games that were announced and released 2 months later, so maybe SCVI is closer than what we imagine.
 
Tacky would be cool. They should hold off on the new character until next time and reveal Taken and Kilik.

I think you’re seeing marketing as some sort of infinite resource.

I don’t mean the manpower/money to actually market something, but rather the saturation onto existing viewers. They are already getting bombarded by a 101 different companies/products, so picking and choosing what you market to your own niche is clever.

You could argue ‘just release all info and let the consumer decide what to research,’ but we know this isn’t aimed at clever people such as yourself, but rather a mass audience. This is marketing, not a blurb or info.

Also remember that all of us here like SC a LOT more than practically anyone else so opinions may well be skewed.

But seriously, simmer down.

Marketing is marketing, NB will do whatever they want regardless of your opinions about it. Getting into an argument about it is pointless.

So i did my research myself since no one answered, and it seems to be Saturday, if they are planning to make the huge reveals after SCV/SCIV sde tournaments so the new reveals may be for Saturday.
