Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

For what it's worth, Sony starts at 11AM PDT - 2PM EST on the 12th for... I think 6-8 hours or something if I recall correctly, and the Tekken/SCVI bit starts at 2:30 PM(forgot if it's PDT or EST) that day. So probably during Sony. Regardless, not long of a wait now, and that's what matters. The wait is painful, but worth it.

I'd be fine with Woken or Broken Matt Hardy. It'd be the dumbest thing ever in a SoulCalibur game. Though it'd be cool if somebody randomly had some wrestling moves as throws. Even a full on grappler would be cool.

To clarify my position, I'm extremely passionate about this game and want it to be a success.
Time to time, with my Shen genes, I hear or see things which can't be heard or seen.
I'll share my knowledge whenever I can.

Please do not hesitate to ask me anything here or on my twitter! (:

What are you looking forward to in SC6? Anything you really want included?

Ironically, the things which I'm looking forward to are what SCVI brings rather than the game itself, they are:
1) Meeting new people around the world
2) Engaging with the community
3) Mentoring players

We can get the best SC Iteration ever developed by NAMCO, but without the global community supporting and going out to events for the game, it will be SoullessCalibur.

If it is SCVI related, I really want Yun, a comprehensive training mode and a replay system to effectively review your own matches.

So far, have you heard of another new character(s)? Or even about the number of characters at release?

I don't want names or details, juste to know :P

My adversary, Shining Decopon, refused to indulge me with more knowledge at this point. All I can say is that it is a remake and we can expect most of SC1 and SC2 cast to be there on launch. Keep your expectations within those and you will not be disappointed. The question will always be: Which one will they remove for DLC? :P

What do you think Rock's chances are? The fact that you said 'most' is worrying.

The problem with Rock is that he is not exactly pivotal to the main lore aspect of SoulCalibur like the Koreans. If Project Soul's objective is to retell the story and inject new lore regarding why these characters are in the timeline, it's possible.

That being said, he is still one of my favourite characters. *winks*

Why are you asking this guy stuff like he's supposed to know more than anyone else here? And furthermore, you think he's gonna leak anything here with his name attached?
Why are you confronting him like there are no members of the SoulCalibur community that can be held in any high regard?

You make it sound like we could be seeing Hwang return! It would be amazing if he plays like Assassin from SoulCalibur II.
The hype is real!
