The character mouth animations seem a little awkward when they talk, like, not good enough for a 2018 game. But that is a very tiny complaint. Really not a big deal but I thought it was worth mentioning.
I noticed this a few times as well. Facial animation in general isn't great but oh well.
People said the same thing about every character in T7 using the same body in customization and lo and behold nothing changed.Probably because the build we keep been given is one focus on the battle mechanics. Animation syncing takes time and is probably not a huge priority when it comes to showing off the game.

Something interesting to note, they announced like 4 characters for SCV back in 2011 at Gamescom in Germany. They might do the same this time too.SoulCalibur VI will be at Gamescom in Germany this August.

In SC4's cutscenes. the lip sync was only done for the Japanese version, but the lip sync for intro and victory dialogue changed for both languages, whereas in SC5 it was purely English. SC3 was the last one to have lip syncing for both languages across the board. From what we've seen of SC6, it generally seems like they're following in SC5's footsteps, mostly going by the character reveal trailers since the Japanese versions all have the English lip syncing.I was thinking about that too, I like when that kind of details are well made, but maybe the reason behind this is the fact that they want the animation to fit with both languages, something like in the middle. In the previous games the animation was made for japanese only? I dont remember now, but I think is a little difficult to achieve this goal unless they make animation for both.

Thanks for video! But... What about Inferno!? Why you put it out of the roster? Because he's a Boss Mimic? They can give him a unique moveset, similar to necrids concept, but way better! And, about Talim... I really like her, but i think, they put her as a DLC character (maybe as a PreOrder bonus), as Tira and Cassy. Why?
