I hadn't thought about it before but Lizardman being included on the roster and not getting his own story line could be very possible and shouldn't bother most of his fans too much.

if CaS is on the character select screen that still leaves 7 open slots. minus 1 for the new character which bring us to 6. where did you get 5 from?

This Story Mode Roster only has TWENTY (20) slots, and if Geralt, the guest character, is getting a story mode inclusion that means that there's only 20 characters that aren't bosses, Edgemasters, and whatnot. That also means that total roster will include 20 characters and two or three boss characters (or two boss characters and one DLC guest through pre-order or whatever).
We have 15 characters revealed thus far, we have 20 slots in Story Mode. That means there's only FIVE (5) more reveals left. The remaining character slots are going to be slotted for boss characters for the base roster. Cervantes and Astaroth are two more reveals we know are coming. The remaining three slots on the story mode are likely to be SC1 returners, Hwang, Seong Mina and Rock.
This is the very last time I explain this. Keep hyping yourself up for disappointment.

Tira seems a given to me. For the two others well.. Maybe Seong Mina and Hwang/ Yun or Raphael?

How dare you. I want, nay, NEED, to see ~5 battles in a row of people happening upon Lizardman in embarrassing situations and he decides to fight them rather than deal with the socially awkward situation.
Lizardman walks down a cave hallway not paying attention, turns a corner, and bumps headfirst into Kilik. The contents of his belt pouch spill onto the ground to reveal lewd drawings of his favorite lizard waifus.
Kilik gives him a disgusted look as he spots the splayed out images.
"I-I-It's called hentai... and it's art," Lizardman stammers. Kilik is clearly trying to back away slowly now. Lizardman begins to sweat, and rather than try to explain how 2D > 3D Lizardman draws his sword.

Hmmm this is a fair point. I don't want to make conclusions just yet if this is all we're going to get, this image of the story mode might just be a place holder but I'm not get any of my hopes up from the observations of it.

Any definitive proof that the story board we've seen is the set in stone final product? Also there's the other story mode they keep mentioning. Who knows what that includes and allows for outside the first story mode.
Not saying you're wrong but it's far from the certainty you claim it is. Especially with the two tiny bubbles with yet to be explained potential.

I really hope so. This and weapon select on the character select screen are two of the old nostalgic things that I really miss in SC.

Why wouldn’t Tira return considering her involvement in the series runs deeper than any of the Koreans.
I mean think about it, she put in work trying to find a suitable host even killed one of the protagonists and corrupted another.
For all we know Tira could have been involved with Grøh’s demise/ disappearance.
She has way too much potential and influence to write out of the story on the basis she wasn’t in SC1
If Zasalamel can make it in...
Tira is pretty much confirmed.

I've also edited a list of names for most of the proposed characters. I did my best with Mi-na, but I didn't bother on Hwang without an in-game W for reference. This might help the deductions based on the blur lengths and known timeline information.
