They should give us at least one match of gameplay for each character when they get revealed.

@LisaK soft confirmation for mina? I like the sound of that. I need to get ready to squeal like a rabid anime girl on speed just in case then.
 
Welp, considering the event going on, i'd assume this weeks reveal would be characters that would generate the most hype and attention from the tournament players or people associated with / interested in that. Going off that, my guess is Hilde, Setsuka or Tira. Perhaps all of them if its going to be a big reveal. I definitely would not expect them to reveal anything like CAS, story or single player related.

"New members are recruited in the form of orphans kidnapped by members of the organization throughout Europe. The children are thrown into a dungeon together and denied food. No wonder she got problems. Poor Tira.
 
Still doesn't give her the right to destroy a family. I'd hate to think she'd end up going to Japan and messing around with the Mishimas' ancestors.

You mean like when the Tekken FB confirmed Anna for T7?
 
Well because of her, one of the best girls is forced to fight for evil people and dies, some boy becomes a smug POS who commits genocide on the wrong people, and makes someone into an annoying moeblob. Plus even in III she was really obsessed with Sophitia...

Guess that shows how she’s a great villainess. Especially with the scheming.

Yeah I do like Tira as a character in the series, and I look forward to having more of her background explored in SCVI,

I've always been curious about her since she was shown fighting Raph in the intro cinematic of SCIII but it never was part of the story. Did she end up confronting Raph later in the series? Is she responsible for killing him/making him Dumas?

That is much more Soul Edge's (and its creator's) fault than Tira's. And Patroklos being too stupid to realize he is wrong has nothing to do with that, his fault is his alone.
 
Come to think of it we don't exactly know where Edge came from. With Calibur I think it's implied to have been Excalibur once?

And it's effects seem different on each user.

  1. I guess that those who willing use Soul Edge and are genuinely evil like Cervantes don't see many physical effects. They may look a little sick like Patty's infamous kill.

  2. You can be less willing and have certain intentions without being a complete monster but it's easier to malfest like Raphael. Still its changes seem to vary as Raphael's malfestation is infectious. Gets confusing if you assume Viola is Amy since maybe it changed as she got older to developing magic. Maxi, Yun, and Sophitia in IV ended up turning red and getting echo-y voices in some of the Stories. Age prevention seems to be one of them as seen with Tira and for a time, Voldo.

  3. You could be of a weak willpower that the sword can easily influence like Siegfried and Pyrrha. This gives a more monstrous appearance to comply with breaking the wielder into becoming the ideal body for the sword. But why does Siegfried get fancy new armor and Pyrrha doesn't?

  4. Ivy and possibly Amy/Viola have platinum hair and are known to have blood tainted by Soul Edge (Ivy was a product of rape for SE to have a host while Amy got infected healing Raph.) Still how do you explain Maxi and Pyrrha who have SE tainted blood? Maxi didn't age and Pyrrha is kind of borderline loli for being of modern college student age even though Ivy's body matured? Did she (Ivy) go through puberty early or something?

  5. Evil Seed effects as seen with Kilik make you insane but it seems to persist. And who it affects seems random.
