Okay but seriously, I'm betting that Kilik will become a host to Soul Edge or this evil Kali-Yuga if that's what they're implying.

Makes me wonder if the story mode will include Destined Battles with special scripted events/properties.

LIke X's destined battle could be vs permanently Soul Charged Kilik at a point in the story when he's being driven crazy by the evil seed.

Tbh sometimes i forgot that Kilik is in the game, despite being one of my favorite lol, that's just a testament on how many great characters are in this game already.

I really hope they'll use well sc6 story mode to genuinely introduce the sc universe and its epic characters to understand wll those characters for new comers, and for old school fans like many of us here, make us learn more about the characters with nostalgia vibes, would need the best case for sc6 I think. MK9 and SF4 have done this well to give examples.

Okubo looks fucking exhausted. Dude needs a vacation ASAP. Hopefully that'll take the sting out of people hating on him once the game comes out.

Sounds like no demo or online beta for us. Lame.

She asked again at the end and he said that any potential guest in the Season Pass couldn't be talked about for people would spam both Okubo and the other company.

Kayane: Will there be a beta test build?

Okubo: I want to but the development team is on crunch time so I'm more focused on getting the game out on time.


It's quite obvious now that a beta test will not be coming because reading between the lines it seems like Bandai Namco is putting massive pressure on the team to release the game on time. It's understandable considering maximizing sales in the first couple of weeks in a specific time window of the year is extremely important. If you've ever followed game development on other games you will know the importance of this so it's important to note that if broken mechanics are found once the game is released don't lose your shit over it, just point it out and it should be patched quickly.
 
Interesting takes

Okubo-San said that while he had fun with Tekken World Tour the community interest will be key to see if Soul Calibur will get one.

-On launch there is only one Guest, however he said on Season Pass we might see more (Confirms most speculations and leaks)
-The game is ready, the implication is due to the way he said when you have PS4 and XboxOne releases they need to be ready 2 months in advance.
-They are making sure the game is balanced and the E3 build is old, the game was tweaked, he got bashful about patches because he is trying to make sure the game is perfect.
-Fame data in-game is not likely due to Company policies.

AWESOME INTERVIEW KAYANE REALLY ENJOYED IT A LOT, GOOD INTERVIEW. GLAD TO SEE THAT THIER 3-WEEKS OUT UNTIL FIRST DISC BURN REALLY EXCITED FOR THAT.
