I came across a guy who was afk for the first couple rounds, it gave me a great chance to figure out my character's moveset a bit. I kind of wish that would happen a little more.
The one RE thing I like is stuff that properly end it, like Tira's kiss/bite of death. It's annoying when it keeps clashing over and over.

I think it's the community who will have to revive the franchise. Got a friend who only plays Smash? Bring him/her in! Tekken? Bring him/her in! DOA? Bring him/her in!. Virtua Fighter? Bring him/her in!. Mortal Kombat? Bring him/her in! Clayfighter? Bring him/her in!

I managed to borrow a PS4 by asking local friends so I was able to play the beta for some hours. In one of the first matches I did the game literally became softcore porn with Tira pouncing Ivy to kiss her:

Those were the days... 13 years have passed but that presentation still has not been surpassed. That's how you promote a game.
Now they just preffer making trailers like the one which announced Tira as day one DLC... a week before the game went Gold.
