Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

It might be cool if he used Ghost as an assist. And therefore Setsuka = YELL since we are all screaming for her...

And I don’t mean to go that far but hopefully Geralt can get Aeon’d in the next game. Either way, Mitsurugi still has some longswords that work in a pinch. Perhaps Arthur?

Jon Snow would be lit but wouldn't he essentially be Geralt lol
There's things that could be made for him to be unique.
He wields his sword with both hands and makes slower moves due to it's size. He can pull some Kasumi moves from Tekken and summon Ghost as an assist to make some combos and grabs, throw Valirian fire to the ground or enemy and summon Daenerys with the dragons as his finisher.
He also can have battle damage losing his black coat and loosing his hair.

But what i want with all my heart is a ring where you're at the intro board while all the countries and cities rise in the background with the epic opening music sounds during the fight.

Oh my god... Why i do this to me...T.T

That opening credits game of thrones music would actually be PERFECT in soul caliber. Goosebumps imagining it. But I'm not too keen on the idea of having a game of thrones character in sc6

Jon Snow would be nice and all but I'd rather have Oberyn Martell and his bouncy spear fighting style.
I don't think is posible to have a side character over a main, but we could get armours and weapon sets from characters like Jaime, the Hound, Melissandre, Oberyn, the Mountain, etc...

Please, someone send this idea to the poll we got two days ago, it sounds too good xD

So I noticed that 2B's stage never appears in Arcade, but Geralt's does. Am I just getting bad luck or did they not put it in the Arcade pool for some reason?

Probably a small/silly complaint but ffs is Arcade not bare-bones enough already? -_-

Honestly if they can bring him in SC, or like Khalessi or Jack Sparrow something at that level of popularity they should just do it, and it doesn't matter if they have "a sword" as i'm pretty sure PS can found a way to make them unique, it will bring a lot of people to SC i think, it can be even more than 2B and Geralt did.

Sadly it's probably just one of the many inconsistencies and oversights of the game.

When I imagine the team working on the game, images of about 3 guys bundled in a small cluttered office sharing two computers spring to mind, may not actually be far from the truth.

Now that you mention it, does 2b even come up as an opponent in arcade mode?!

Nope. She doesn't. Another thing that bugs me :( And honestly your idea of 3 guys sharing two computers doesn't sound far off lol.
Aren’t stages set depending on difficulty?
Only the final battle of Arcade is difficulty dependant. The 'boss' if you can even call it that is based on the difficulty (though Inferno, the ACTUAL boss, is only fightable on the hardest I think so why the f*ck bother? I'd rather he wast he was the boss of all difficulties but just had better AI as they go up so that it at least felt like there WAS a proper boss)

Gah sorry I get so bitter but Arcade is literally the only mode I play (and I'll replay Soul Chronicles eventually too) so I would appreciate it to be a lot more fulfilling or at least have basics like the whole roster and all arenas to fight with.

God Amy can't come fast enough. I need a reason to play again. If my main wasn't coming back then I honestly don't think I'd be playing this much at all in the future :/ I was so hype for it but despite the characters all being well done, the rest of the game still feels a bit lacking.

I think I'm one of the only people who really didn't like Mission Mode at all though so that probably goes against me :/

Can I suggest that you try playing with other people?

It's far more fulfilling than the single-player.

It can be really infuriating and disheartening as well. I understand those who stick to single-player.
This.

A combination of me being a loser and autism makes actually learning and building skill pretty much impossible for me. I can play a game for years and never get any better at it. Admittedly I have very little patience and willpower too so it's all a pretty bad combination. My experience online has always been that I get steamrolled and the other person is probably laughing their ass off. The only time I did ok online was the odd match in the Beta 'cause everyone was new to the game lol. But even then, most people still wrecked me,

I can't even play against my best friends 'cause they're too good too. I just get really mad and frustrated and they get bored 'cause I'm not a challenge ¯\(ツ)

Always been a solo/AI player in these kinds of games. So you can imagine how frustrating the lack of content in SCIV and V was compared with III which was packed, lol.

The weird thing is SCVI feels just as lacking in single player stuff even though it's actually not? I wish I liked Mission Mode more but it just felt kinda dull and it got too hard and frustrating for me really quick. Makes me wonder how I ever nearly completed Chroincles of the Sword back in SCIII :S Either it was easier or I had more patience back then lol
