There's virtually no chance of that. I'd say this is very likely our first official tease of the second season, not a suggestion that Cassie has been passed over for the last place is season 1, after they hung her out there (however unofficially) in their improbably accidental code references. We've known Setsuka was coming for months now, ever since the second of the "leaks" and I don't see any reason to assume from this reference that the code listings are inaccurate and that they are shaking up the release order.

Exactly! Plus there's no way any of the second wave of characters has been developed to the point of being ready for release. Meanwhile, Cassandra already has a lot of data in the files. I don't know how this whole 'replacement' idea even shares the same forum where lots of factual data directly from the game's files gets spread around constantly.

Okubo dropped a hint about Amy a long while before her release, and did the same for Cassandra. As you said, he's merely planting a seed for Setsuka.

yeah you are somewhat wrong, world tour wont come unless the community pushes hard. SC6 has not had a ton of viewers on twitch if we compare it to other fighters like DBZ, STF, Smash Bros and Tekken. I have noticed that for the previously mentioned games the the viewer count is around 400 up to 1000+ on daily basis.
SC6 gets around 200 +/- the only time SC gets more viewers is when there is a tournament or some famous person like maximilian dood shows up. its a shame that the game has not been able to keep an audience even tho the game is fun but it seems the game is not that fun to watch. Coming back on the matter of a "World Tour™" like Okubo said ask Bamco and maybe they will consider it.
 
It actually made me think - if they would actually (for whatever reasons) hold on Cassandra again I would simply uninstall this game to never return to it again lol
 
Cassandra isn’t getting pushed back for Setsuka LOL.
There was loads of Amy hate until her trailer dropped.

I just hope they make Cassandra a badass like she was in 3 and not a goof ball like in 4.

Regarding season 2 I assume a male or a guest will be headlining.

But at no point should any of those characters be Algol like FUUUUUUUCK that guy, we have Aswel we don’t need another character with end game boss type BS.

I hated Algol, his moves where stupid his inclusion was a reach, his design and voice tilted me.
And the bubbles?! FOH!!!!!

Last big SC6 tournament was FR and there were like 6000 viewers if i remember well, also those numbers don't mean that much, there was a time when Tekken 7 was hardly reaching 1000 while games like Street Fighter 5 were around 150K in twitch more than one time and for a while, i can still remember when people were saying that T7 can never reach an SF, Smash or even MK game in term of popularity and hype in tournament, and even ATP Aris was not believing on it much in as he said it many time in his past podcasts, and look at it now, it doesn't matter how much SC6 will have viewers in Twitch, what matters is if it has the potential for growing, and it definitely has.

About Setsuka i think that was just an innocent tweet, even tho i wish it's a tease, a bit too early Cass need to come first.

Sigh. Okie-doki.

I will just say that my butt queen Cassandra Alexandra is not going to miss this season and her beauty stomps that of her sister Sophitia.

While I like Setsuka I will admit that she may not make it next season. Probably the third. However, Hilde is more likely since her skin is fair as snow and has long reach with that weapon.
