So there's some sort of announcement being teased for November 19th? Funnily enough, that's a Tuesday, a day normally associated with DLC releases. I wonder if that's the day we get Hilde.

Honestly, I've been so hyped for the new characters that I haven't been thinking much about the CaS packs. Not like I'm expecting much quality out of them anyways if the previous ones are anything to go by. :/
If anything, I'm mostly looking forward to the parts that are included with the characters, especially because they managed to split up Hilde's equipment so well.

In my opinion these are the only "viable" characters left that they can charge for
I removed Algol and Dampierre because Algol is a boss character who was replaced by Azwel. Algol also has funky hitboxes and layers that require extra work to fit into Custom character bodies and heights
Dampierre is just not popular at all

I hope the CAS packs have more new stuff in general. I mean, even Lost Swords managed to regularly deliver new stuff. You know that's bad when I'm citing Lost Swords positively. I just don't want so many recycled parts from past games.

I wouldn't be surprised if Setsuka came back, but they didn't mention her in story mode. I'm wondering how she'll fit in?
Hwang should come back because he's in Mina's story and I miss him. It would suck if Yun gets in(even though I hear nothing about him in story) over Hwang. I'd be happy about Yun, but I prefer Hwang.
Viola? I would be happy to see her again, but does that mean another GRO-I mean ZWEI has to be there? I mean, Amy's story was sort of hinting she could transform into Viola? Like we could have a time travel thing with Viola meeting Amy like Cassy did?
Lizardman doesn't need a story, but his fighting style could be tweaked to make a male sword and shield that's not Pattycakes. Otherwise CAS Lizzy for days.
Rock is now a forgotten dude like Li Long. Bummer.
For now, I wait for Hilde and Haohmaru. Maybe Hoah will give us some CAS pieces and a stage(Japanese one at that? Hilde I want her now.

Hmmm. I'm kind of used to nonsense story telling. Like they'll pull a SCV logic like Maxi and Ivy for not aging.
Cassy story feels like a portal to possible bullcrap to add to timeline. Her story I felt Namco has a thing for Alexandras, but I hope we don't get that Pyrrha x Pattycakes nonsense again. Yuck.
However, I'm being optimistic on both ends. More CAS ideas to play with

Yeah, it's interesting to see where they're going with OT Cass telling NT Cass about the future and how to prevent it. I wonder if they ever reintroduce Viola what the context will be.

It would just be her origin story, training with her master, falling in love with her master, then her master falls ill and dies, just before telling her Mitsurugi's name, setting her on the path of revenge. Setsuka's not really connected to the story at large anyway, so it makes sense she wasn't really mentioned. She did get that one footnote in a battle note, however!
Definitely agree, it does seem like Hwang was meant to be in, but wasn't due to time/budget. Same for Aeon. Yun-seong would be... okay I guess, but Hwang really should be the one.
They've set up the narrative that Viola will be in Amy's future, but not right now. Her traveling partner to accompany her to Ostrheinsburg is a mystery, could be Grøh, could be Z.W.E.I., could be Lucius for all we really know, but it's probably somewhat related, maybe. Doubts for time travel, just SoulCalibur VII.
I disagree, he has a lot of untapped story potential, as has always been written in his bios. Starting his story out like Cervantes having an alt-form, for Aeon being his human form, would really do a lot to expand and relate the story properly. The existing Lesser Lizardman style could be fleshed out with Patroklos moves and other LIzardman moves and could be really good.
Seriously.
50/50 on Haohmaru parts, since Geralt didn't give us any. New stage for sure, though! Will double as a Setsuka stage.
