That sketch of that guy with the mug... I just realized that whenever I see that sketch, I always imagine that he must be some Scottish swordsman guy and there must be booze in the mug. Lol
I wish we had a Celtic type of character on the roster.

Setsuka would be technically Celtic, same could be said about Cervantes and possibly Ivy. The Celts were just as widespread as the Germanic tribes across western Europe.

Continental Celts as a distinct culture have been gone for like 2000 years. Anybody anywhere using the word "Celtic" today outside an academic setting is obviously referring to the extant Celtic languages and their corresponding cultures: Ireland, Wales, and Scotland.

You will have to forgive me when it comes to the continent, my research has mainly been focused on the British Isles and the surrounding continental coastline regions. Also in context to Soul Calibur, culture and ethnic groups were way more intertwine than they are in the modern world as global travel was still in it's infancy and mass ethnic travel hadn't really began.

The point is they obviously meant Irish/Scottish.
 
yeah cleaning up the political BS take it to PMs. This is like the one SC6 discussion thread that should just be pure discussion regarding the game.

Last thing we want is some puritanical religious nut or some hypocritical SJW (2 sides of the same coin) coming down and complaining about our beloved game
I'll probably delete this post shortly as well but just wanted to give a heads up about some slight thread cleaning
