no offense but i was sand bagging

i rarely take mirror matches serious

i played trolt serious and beloved child serious

anyone who doesn't main raph i don't see the point

because mirror matches only have 1 purpose: learning

I take the mirror matches serious, sometimes I'll lay on the floor when near dead because the match pissed me off so bad(the shit I may have fell for) that I don't bother fighting with the last 2 hits of my health.

Me and Trolt are pretty even, though he is a much better stepper/better use of 236B then I use.

Neuklarfire wtf ever your name is(new guy), If you're not using 3B/66A+B into your game, and NEVER using 6BB, you're probably playing Raphael incorrectly.

Once you stop them from stepping, 3B is your primary offensive tool. 66A+B forces them to constantly give your Raphael space, especially since it's pretty good on block too(-3/4?)

Nulkeufire: Have you realized you can't beat angelic now? If not, look - he has 3(!) raphaels next to his ava. Can you really face such a power and win?

btw beloved, u did a lot of GI's (in our first matches) post 66A+B on block. Be careful with that, since your opponant isn't always going to do a quick counter-attack if they have some raph knowledge. But i guess that's strictly mirror-match info.

66A+B on block is good enough to 8wr or step around their attack, so against another raph you should know what to do :)

---off topic : Btw you caught me a lot trying to tech off the ground with 44B and even 236B, which was pretty good.. and too bad we didnt connect any 8A+B lol

Nah that's solid info Trolt, The 66A+B GI window is much different from the A+BA one, on 66A+B 6BB will still beat out alot of the opponents Non TCing moves, even just BB will beat out plenty of stuff. I switch it up.

The A+B, A GI window however, I get people with constantly, it allows you to keep the offensive on people that'll freeze up and hold block rather then delaying there attacks. If I expect a slow attack, I'll just try to interrupt. The GI threat on both of these moves is a big factor in Raphael's game, don't disregard.

I forgot all about constantly stepping left on Raphael too, silly me. didn't make great use of 33KB ;_;....

Oh 44B is great as a wakeup tool, even if you didn't get up, it'd hit you on ground. I think it can be rolled right I believe? It even tracks decently, so yeah it's a good threat in Raphael's arsenal.

Seriously he's a shitty Hilde man, it feels like a single mistake vs Cervy and you're paying 40% of your life plus change with wakeup. It's like Mitsu, except cervy doesn't even look cool while he does it -_-....

this is a good wake up move especially when you have trained your opponet to block low on wake up

;P

i do 1k and 1B untill they block low then go 44B

nevertheless..raph imo is vulernable to super-TC moves.. since he doesn't have many mids that hit the ground that are decent speed ...

2B is a guaranteed hit off of many moves that have no other options off CH. ex. 44K. I BELIEVE it's guaranteed off 6A CH, but don't quote me on that one

2B is one of your fastest mid/ground hitting pokes on oki, don't neglect it.
