Look at the animation of these '80s cartoons and compare to todays cartoons. The difference in quality is ridiculous. How do shows from 20+ years ago have better animation than the present day?

Not to mention the music is ridiculous(ly good). These kind of shows with their hardcore intros need to come back.

I noticed that they've replaced realistic body proportions with tiny legs and large heads, even for the more serious cartoons like the new Xmen show, which pisses me off because it's a disgrace to the original, so it seems they're just not putting effort into it. A lot of shows are also trying to use 3D animation instead as well; maybe that has something to do with it.

Thinking back on it, some of them were quite ridiculous. I think one of them had a dildo shaped stick that the main character used to transform into ultraman, and another one that was a fusion of two people...

It's because saturday morning network tv has been taken over by Smash Bros. players. What's this? No guns. No violence. Bright colors only. Fairly Oddparents.
 
Man, I must've been one of the only people on here that religiously watched both Sonic the Hedgehog shows. I would flip out if I ever missed an episode. Hell, I'd even wake up at 7 to watch the Saturday morning Sonic the Hedgehog. The more grim and serious Sonic was probably one of my first tastes of drama in a cartoon.

But, moving on, mine are;

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog/SatM Sonic
Batman: Animated Series/Beyond
Conan- The Adventurer
Duck Tales
Freakazoid
Earthworm Jim

Most others, people had mentioned, but those are the ones I most fondly remember.
 
Ride through the storm, see the knights fighting evil and crime.
A modern day team of heroes in medieval times.
Arthur and the Knights of Justice putting evil down.
Ride through the storm with the knights of the Table Round.
Come on...come on!
King Arthur ride!

Oh how I miss that show. The birth of air guitar for little kids.
