    thats pretty much it. GI's will destroy predictable players but if you yourself become predictable with GI's then you can get punished massively for it. the exception to this is GI'ing on reaction, when you GI slow moves that they have already commited to... thats just all down to your timing...

    having the connection "drop" inputs through no fault of your own due to packet loss is annoying as hell that sounds like packet loss to me... theres no skill/buffering involved, an input just literally doesnt register. i've had it happen to me in the same situation and other similar ones...
