Algol Combos and Tech Traps

On a related note, I found out that you can delay the timing of the 8A+KBBBB bubbles. Perhaps this can make it so that all four bubbles hit in these kind of combos?
 
Delaying them does allow for more combo possibilities. But none of the combos in my video required any delays from my testing. But if you watch
you can spot instances where he delays them. Such as the start up for the combo on Darth Vader.

Edit: Unfortunately (or fortunately, however you look at it), the combos in the second video only work on Ivy if she is standing there in neutral position.

None of these combos seem to work if you launch her while she is guarding low, or after a whiffed GI. They don't even work if you interrupt her from doing move and launch her. And since they only work if you launch her from head on you can't step and punish with the combo either.

That means you just have to hope your opponent will stand there and not press any buttons for those combos to work.
 
Here's a tech trap I found not too long ago:

66BA -> 3AA

Only works from a normal angle (no walls or edge behind them keeping you close). The 3A will whiff, and the second 'A' will catch tech rolls. It can only be escaped by rolling to the right.

If a mod wants to edit the first post with updated combos and tech traps then feel free to.. I'm too lazy right now. =P
 
sum1 needs to edit the first post lol heres sum stuff you missed:

3AA - 2B+K does 69 dmg so use it if ure not trying to RO however the 2B+K often missses chars like kilik for sum annoying reason for him do the aB one.

1B - you've done it in the techtrap bit but under 3b just 2A+K.

None of the WS B moves work since after patch 8A+B now puts the opponent behind you and trying to do 2 8A+Bs results in just one and an A+B anyway. Some actual WS B comobs are:

WS B 4A+B 8A+B BT B+K (RO from behind or you could just do 8A+B if it was a smaller distance)

WS B 4A+B 8B+K

2A+K aint really a tech trap the opponent cant roll around from the bubble. Only works if they hold G and i think if they roll forward or backward dunno but mainly its hold g.

Most of the 33b combos are spelt with B+K instead of A+B. You really only need these three though.

33b 8B+K - usually the best option since others require the 33b to be close range.
33b 4A+B 8A+B BT B+K (backward RO)
33B slight delay aB (RO)

33B 4A+B 2A+B aB 2b/11b does work sometimes but i've had it not work more often then it does. Sometimes it bounces them too far back so the aB whiffs or both bubbles form the 4A+B hits and they bounce way too high. Not worth it.

Aint this a tech trap A+B 11A 2A+B aB 2b/11b

a few extra stuff: if your opponents stupid enough you can bounces them up with a bubble from the floor on 6AAB and then aB 2b/11b.

2B+K if they walk backward (crap move i know) 2A+B 623ABK or 2A+B aB 2b/11b is much easier for same dmg.

um theres a weird glitch i dont know if you know about it

66BA --> 2B+K

it whiffs but still does dmg

2B+K does 2 hits second one just has a smidge more range. Same thing with 3AA 2A+B 2B+K.

btw 66BA A+B is even wierder there no sign of it hitting the opponent at all yet it still hits lol.

wow nvm had a retarded moment the dmg comes from falling down XD
 
100% guaranteed Combo against a full blocked Asura:

33B~4A+B~6A+B~8A+B~4x4[A+B]~6A+B~8A+B~4[A+B]~4A+B~6A+B~aB~11B 131 DAMAGE


Found that one today, since i was researching some Anti Asura stuff. Its absolutely guaranteed, Asura leaves you at exact the right distance...i get this 9/10 without any problem, no strict timing, no distance issues, insane Damage.

Slightly delay the first 33B and the first 4A+B, the rest should work pretty well....

Another one that is pretty easy:

33B~4A+B~6A+B~6A+B~8A+B~4[A+B]~4A+B~6A+B~ab~11B for 107 or 109 Damage...not sure right now.

So if you dont 623B the second Hit and your opponent is not hitchecking good enough, its pretty nice. Definetely a WTF-
Combo.

i cant really seem to get the timing right. Most of the time both the buubles from the first 4A+B hit him so theres not enough bounces and nothing hits after 6A+B. Although it only worked a few times when i did it as fast as i can.
 
Are you doing it after a blocked Asura? This is Asura only, didnt test it in other situations.

You gotta hit the first 4A+B a bit delayed, shouldnt be a problem at all. The bubbles of the first 4A+B dont hit at the same time. Its more like 2 Hits.

yh im doin it from a fully blocked asura. No matter how i try to delay the 4A+B or 33b both the bubbles seem to hit at the same time. The furthest i got when both bubbles hit properly was to after the [4A+B] x4 bit then they ended up falling. Ill try again this afternoon
 
Maybe you should first try the "small" Combo, its more reliable. Maybe im gonna make a small video this evening, so you can get the timing better. Just need some batteries :P

Yeahh i think so. I think Sophies 236236B~236236B:4 is the most Damaging Combo in the Game with like 120 or something, but of course she doesnt get this against Asura due to the range.
