Maxi vs. Maxi : Interruption.
True, 2A doesn't really belong there... I forgot to test against 8A_B_K attacks but I assume it doesn't stop those.
The thing is that this list is mostly aimed against those who just keep attacking non-stop (whether they know what they're doing or not.) So it doesn't matter that much if they can intercept with WL and PSL3 (or evade with PSL4/PSL5) because most of them won't. I think it has little importance.
Besides, if the opponent likes to use WL and PSLs, then the reason for this list is void because you can use a wider choice of interrupts and punishers. You're not being pressured the same way.
Additionally, they might not choose the proper interceptor.
The only reason why I listed PSLs and WL is because it should be expected. If the interruption attempt was caught by that, then it becomes sort of a mix up for next time. Try again, or risk a different interrupt that won't get caught but might not interrupt all possible options if they just choose to attack.
I made this list because I'm sick of losing to crappy players who just win because they keep throwing random attacks and I'm stuck blocking for a long time, in fear of getting interrupted/evaded if I attempt to punish.
I predict that if I learn a good part of this list, I won't lose to button mashers anymore, and good Maxi players will be forced to play less aggressively.
(When I played against Uber1337, he knew how to interrupt my loop strings... It greatly lowered the little offense that I had.)
But no, I don't mind, heh.
Of course there isn't a lot of discussion to be had here, I just thought it might be good to put it in a separate thread because it's a big list and kinda different from the rest, since aggressive Maxi has to be countered in a unique way...
