Astaroth and Viola Announced at TGS

Tokyo Game Show started today (half a day ago, due to timezones) and already a metric ton of information has been released about various fighting games for the upcoming year. Soul Calibur V is of course no exception with Famitsu getting the details on two new confirmed characters!

The first revealed character is a returning favorite... Astaroth; who if my math is correct, is now 23 years old. The second new character is "Viola"; who attacks with disembodied jewels, very similar to Z.W.E.I. She is working with Z.W.E.I. to accomplish something or another.

I won't feel stupid because she's not Amy. She's Viola and uses a claw and an orb. Deal with it.

 

Like said before me, anyone who does not see that Viola looks like a grown-up Amy is blind or stupid.

Disagreements on who a fictional character really is.

I find the whole Viola is/isn't Amy argument to be stupid because it hasn't been acknowledged or denied by the makers...yet.
So can't we all just agree to disagree?

Cus we all know Viola is so Amy anyway.
Just kidding.

Though like others have said the outfit, face, and hair style,and etc... look like Amy's to me.

They're really not! :(( I read in this french website that they decided not to reveal anymore characters! Hope it isnt true....

Because Astaroth is an old character they could just dump into the game for TGS without many changes.

This instantly reminds me of Soul Calibur 3's Story Mode! Finally, something thats much better than SC 4's "Story".

 

I recall in a certain interview, not sure who, but said tha once you finish Story Mode you'd be able to unlock plenty of stuff. Question is, is it a individual Story for each character, or one long one that involves everyone?

 

Interesting to also note that while Patroklos wields a RED shield , weapon and garbs, Pyrrha wields a BLUE shield and stuff instead. But who is gonna wield which sword?
