Attacks you may not be using enough

44B people....44B. if they tech it, it's like 60 damage, if they lay there, it's a ground hit. Tracks okay too though I haven't tested it vs rollers.

Now, ROLLERS

What does Raphael do to punish a rolling opponent? Don't say 22B or 33K:B, they almost never get up RIGHT after the first roll, you can roll up to 3 times. I can't figure out what to really do for that extra damage.

Only solid things I've found or 2K and 2B right after grounding hits/combo's, but this isn't enough for me....

33K:B misses i learned this after being hosed quite a few times

i really just back up 66A+B gets rolled..........great another reason to drop it

i think 33B does ok at tip rage but your better off spacing
 
I don't know why it took me so long to figure this out, but 6K (blocked) -> 44B works like a charm on any short or mid-range characters. When they start waiting for 44B, you can start doing whatever you want after 6K.

Yep. It pretty much works well against every character except those that can punish it (Sophie, Amy, etc). But even then, unless 6K is blocked up close they usually can't punish it anyways
 
The people I play with are hesitant after blocking any move at mid range. It takes time to think of options that would not fall to 44B.
 
Don't we all wish that Pendragon? I just want A+B to not be at disadvantage without the A followup, standing A should be at least i15, and VE options need to be able to come out 2 frames faster, because I'm having too much trouble with getting 2A'd outta VE offline...-_-...

How would this be much different than Prep D A from SCII? It's a zontal mid that only comes from stance making it iALOT

Just change BB back

or maybe make SEA K track
 
You don't even have to necessarily make VE A mid....just make the command 2 inputs like VE AA . that way everytime i do the move i'm not committed to doing a mid high string every time.

Gimme back BB tracking or make it safe and Adv on hit.
 
2B+K and 8B+K should track like BB (but only to their respective sides) ..i'm willing to forfeit the possible stun combos if they could track like that, hell i'll even take 2B+K to be -3 on hit.

I "wish" B+K would step on the 2nd-3rd frame... that'd be totally righteous

lol no they whiff a lot to step G... that AND the fact you have to be super up-close to be able to connect it (since it attacks at 12 and 6 o clock).. so you could have used 2A instead in pretty much any situation
 
well step G works well against a lot of moves that track. 2B+K/8B+K are pretty useless imo because you have to guess which they're gonna get step and if you guess wrong you're losing a chunk of your health. i'd much rather stick with 2A

what if the reward for a successful 2B+K is twice as high as what you can get with 2A ? (the thing is 2A will also hit if they don't step, and will CH if they do a big slow move.. so it's more than 1:2 ratio )

2A on CH gets you +8 frames and some damage.

2B+K gets you a stun + 33K:B/A+BA
 
Sure you get more reward for hitting 2B+K but in my opinion its simply not worth it considering the gamble you have to take. You pretty have to guess that they're gonna step to your left or your right. If they just block, step the opposite direction, backdash, or just do a move you're gonna get smacked. At least most moves that track one side will hit the opponent if they dont do anything...2_8B+K just whiff fucking completely. 2A covers most of these options.
