Evo 2k10 SC4 side tourney 7/9/10

To be honest I didn't wanna make anything official but I've been considering it. I have a job and Ill be in the door working very soon, but I need to see how that will tie up my schedule. I schedule allows it Ill definitely go. Rayikin is already going (praying to god i dont fight him in it).

Good luck getting Tef to show tho lol.
 
See ya about 2-3 everyone. I'll be toting a green/black backpack and a 1st edition TE stick with purple/white buttons. Hope I can shake off my online habits, realized i totally undid all my stepping practice from online Astaroth.
 
With Rock type! Pshhh! Naw realistically Im gonna need to warm up and shake off the scrub. I always have a bad case of the onlines affecting me for the first hour or two of offline play.

I didn't do bad. I lost to some really good players and put up a fight. Did take awhile to shake the "onlines" like I expected. A lot of prebuffering. I got pwned by a voldo wake up trap I just wasnt familiar with though.
 
I just didn't know how to get out of a certain setup period. I couldn't roll, tech roll, take the hit and stand, GI, block and stand, or anything it felt like. There was a corner complicating the matter and it was just an unfortunate case of not having come across this yet and knowing what to do.

the voldo landfish? Take a hit while stunned on the ground and then tech, I think. Enkindu pulled that shit on me during an online tourney a while back (still beat him ^_^)
 
2A+B. he was able to spam it somehow. I tried in practice mode to emulate but it was easy to escape or blockable so it wasn't the same. Ill have to ask him what it was. I've never seen a Voldo do it but once he found I didn't know the out he shut me down tryin to guess mey way out. Also turns out it was not Kayane who I played.

After seeing some play I really need to get twitching into my game style. I got dusted by a Setsuka. I also learned a few things I need to stop doing (WP FC 3B is a no no). Also for got she can punish 214B on hit.

also went back home and worked on my iCS buffers, I was messing them up pretty badly.
 
IFB i believe what you are thinking of is voldo 2a+b~236~a+b+kG

it is essentially a taunt cancel out of his CR, and esom uses it very well.

Stainless Skill is a Yoshi player and is serving in the military. His brother, SorryBakets plays Voldo and is also committed to the military. Pretty sure if either could hit a tourney, they would have gone to Dev or be going to FSAK.
