Fanart Friday: Create-a-Soul Edition

So last week was our first Fanart Friday; and I didn't explain the rules too well... my fault. Last week was supposed to be an emphasis on custom weapons; but a lot of people sent in create-a-soul characters instead. So I will only be posting entries which show a higher emphasis on the character's weapons themselves and this week will be all about Create-a-Soul characters...

If you send in a create-a-soul last week, resend your entry this week. Multiple entries will be permitted, however if we get too many entries, I will have to limit the number of entries per person and select the ones I think are the best. Also, try to include all your entries in a single submission. Remember, submit your entries using the "Contact Us" form; do not post your entries as a comment. Also, while the Soul Calibur series is rated "mature" with "sexual situations", we can not accept any entries with blatant nudity.

Moving on, I have selected 30 of the best entries from the past week... There is also a poll where users can vote on their favorites; the winner receives a limited Project Soul T-Shirt! Images embedded after the break.

Thanks to whoever voted for the Harisen Slapping Fan. Lol I think it would make an excellent joke weapon for any character. I also believe it is a necessity. ESPECIALLY since this is a game from Japan.

I voted for Akai Sagi. Nice design. Though I recommend a sheath. I can picture Natsu using two of them. :]

Just so you guys know... ErikV's Double Voulge entry has been disqualified... He's been creating multiple accounts to vote for his own entry.

that's ashame. his design had real potential.

 

If asking facebook people voting for someone is wrong/banned, then at least there is another person that should be banned also.

Also, Jaxel said Erik was creating multiple accounts to vote for his submission. He can see the names of the people that voted, and check their accounts. I am certain that Jaxel checked their IPs to come to this decision.

It could've been one of his friends that created multiple accounts to vote for him however.

 

Can we vote for two people? I'll vote for the kactars and the guitar chucks. Why? They are potential joke weapons for Maxi and Voldo.

 

Monk's sham WoW? hmm, I was going to vote that one but i think we have to imagine these weapons in action if they are not looking so artistic. Obviusly not everyone here are pure blood Leonardo's.

This can also be exploited: make multiple accounts with a same computer and vote for your rival so that it gets DQ'd. I sincerely hope that no one does this, because this is supposed to be fun contest where people gets to show their ideas/designs.

not really... honestly that's the first thing that came to my mind after ErikV's disqualification...

 

Maybe DQ isn't the best option. Maybe just the votes from the same IP address should be removed, just like Jaxel did in the "best female character poll" (or some other poll). But that would mean a bit more work. And cheaters would find some workaround like voting from public computers around the city (libraries etc.)

Maybe a system that wouldn't accept votes from brand new accounts, I dunno...
