I never seen milla paly before so this msut be a treat for me. But I do have a question about Hlide. I have been palying soem hlide palyers, and I have say I had my doubots about this chaarcter, but I'm impress by what she can do.

But anyway here is my question. Is Hlide good at applying pressure? I mean I have been pin dow nby a lot of c2 and c1, and got fuck up after that. So, if it not much to ask any hlide palyer here on how she can apply pressure to people.

P.S. And milla need to change his cos with Hlide.

If you get ram-stunned and fail to break the stun or get hit by C3B at the middle of the scenario, chances are that you have lost the round already.

I think that's some nice pressure right there.

That said, though, I have often wondered why you don't utilize your spacing, especially against characters who aren't as strong at mid range. On almost every knockdown, you run right into the opponent's face. Maybe there's something I'm missing, though, because I've personally found it better to maintain arm's length.

Ceirn dude that looks like me playing, cept I use the B+K combos instead of the (better) 44K stuff. I'm just way more consistent with those, and as with any game I play, consistency > going for the good shit and missing it.

My only crit I guess...and this just might be me, but shoulder ram is risky/unsafe and I never use it. One of Hilde's strengths imo is how safe she is, and the other guy will probably be looking for that opening.

2A after blocked C2B interrupts something EVERY TIME, love that shit. I also like to throw after it lol. You don't play on PSN, do you?

Nope I play on Xbox live, and If you do the shoulder charge from longer range it isn't as bad on block. I forgot exactly what - you are at, but I have yet to be punished (could be because I rarely throw it out and people aren't keen to punishing it).

Makes sense. Also I don't think I saw you use FC C3A series at all (from what I watched)? I love that, but I can't deny the swiss army knife-ness of regular C3A.

Good stuff there Hayate, Mystic plays Hilde well. Four things I want to point out off the top of my head when I was watching the matches (if you don't mind relaying this to him).

1: Whenever he hits with 66A+B you get a 2A+B for free, which leads into a 33k tech trap. This goes for any 2A+B (timing is different when they are standing). At a further range any tech will be caught, up close right or left techs escape the trap. However up close if you use 2A+K it will catch those right / left techs.

2: Keep in mind that if you hit with a C3B it is better to use B+K sometimes. B+K will place the opponent to hildes sword arm (right) and abit behind her. When you follow up with the C2BB C2AA after that can lead to a ringout if you are aware of your positioning to the ring edge. I'm starting to do this myself, it's pretty nasty at times.

3: Make sure to get more throws in at times. Hilde makes people never want to duck, this means there are many times people will eat throws simply out of fear. Luckily for us this makes people duck on instinct sometimes which can net a free combo.

4: Try using Hilde's slide as a wakeup game. If you run into a downed opponent you can mix up a slide or C2B/C3B. Many times you will get the slide for free since people are afraid to eat her ringout combos. If they stay on the ground the slide nets you some free damage anyway.

I tend to just do the C3B B+K C2BB C2AA combo on them now that I'm more use to the 44k version not working on them. On Amy I do the standard C3B 44K C2BB C3A C2BB C2AA combo, but now I just time the 44k version when Amy is much higher in the air and it seems to work.

Assuming Ceidran is me, anyway.
