How did you come up with your username?

Me and my friends use to have an inside joke where we would use the word jargon alot. I wanted to try and make it original and a name of my own. So I changed the O to and E.....I wasn't very creative atm.

88 was just a number that visually appealed to me and seemed to look good in the name. XD

Mine happened when I discovered SC2 in arcades as my first real attachment to a fighter. I was fascinated with her weapon and dedicated myself to try and learn her, meanwhile friends witnessing my character choice were convinced I was simply in love with the dominatrix aspect and being a fanboy...Oddly not having this cross my mind I was like 'huh...I'm not opposed to that theory..."

I switched to IFB-Pwnstar as a way to use a name outside SC's relevance where it might get lost (or confused with other Ivy's such as Batman's), but retained the acronym at the beginning as a marker to those that know me as IFB.

Flo's short for my first name Florian. It's kinda rare to find a forum where this nick's still available and not occupied by someone who wrote three posts back in 2008 and never came back.

Reminds me of that conversation in Kill Bill:
Budd: You're telling me she cut through eighty-eight bodyguards before she got to O-Ren?
Bill: Nah, there weren't really eighty-eight of them. They just called themselves "The Crazy 88."
Budd: How come?
Bill: I don't know. I guess they thought it sounded cool.

My Clan is named The Furious Harpies, so considering that that would make me a "Furious Harpie", I thought I'd just make that my username :)
I was under the impression that harpies were all female? (Don't ask me how it works, do they kidnap men, is there some sort of "budding" that occurs? Who knows...)

Actually, none of our clan members are girls. & maybe we do kidnap men, who knows :/

my 8wr name is what all my friends from college called me in school, and most of them still do to this day. it is kind of a horrible story.

i went to university of new mexico, home of the lobos. i've never been one for school spirit at all. well on campus, every year around christmas, they get millions of paper bags with sand and candles in them called luminarias and light up the whole campus. my freshman year, i ate a bunch of mushrooms and pot brownies with my newfound dorm friends on luminaria night. i then decided to walk on my own for a while. well, i'd recently gotten a LOBO hat and LOBO shirt as gifts from my grandmother, and happened to be wearing them. when i left for my walk i snagged my friend's jacket, also LOBO gear.

i then got completely lost in the sea of luminarias and had a sort of nervous breakdown and called my friends, sending them on a wild, tripping hunt for me to lead me back to the dorms. when they finally found me, they said that i was walking around like a living dead LOBO advertisement and called me that from then on. you have no idea how crappy and lame it is for a nickname when you are a student at UNM. it stuck, though, and ten years later, here i am.

my PSN name came from this:
