Um, I would really like to hear why you think this is the case, man...

Maybe you've been secretly playing against another Talim that puts mine to shame and can prove otherwise...? If not, I'd say this is Talim's absolute worst matchup that isn't against Algol.

Maybe Saitoh can, but not me. I'll ask Scud this week end, maybe he can.
No need to watch my videos now, Scud is the best.

Against Cas, I played Far Range only.
WP and CL only, and no SW except for CS.
 
So I should play a spacing game instead? Every time I fight Revas it becomes I get TC'd and TS'd to death and TAS B has me scared to try a lot of my CL moves.
 
Spacing game/SG game only works if you train them NOT to step. If even one move of yours at range whiffs, you get TAS'ed B into oblivion. This is where I think grabs/tip range WP 3A/CL 3A/tip range CL 33A come into play.

The good news about Ivy's SG game is that most of it is either safe or knocks back if its fully blocked; just make sure its not STEPPED. :p
 
focus on her 3 toughest fights

Hilde- This one is an struggle everytime soon as you look up by the mid 2nd round your SG is flashing Red i hate hilde. Fought this ivy player from france and he stayed up close in SW and used a defensive & poke game it worked really well.

Amy- She forces you too duck so much wit B+K and all her mixups you'll be getting hit a lot more than you hitting her. Even though amy step is horrid she closes in so fast that it makes up for it. 3:7

depending on your character knowledge you should be able too fair well against majority of the roster for ivy users.

Amy,Algol,Voldo,Hilde should give any ivy user trouble no matter how good you are.
 
I looked at the french match up chart and Ivy's scores are very different from the ones we have here.

And according to the scores Amy is not top?? How can a character so broken be put into "mid" tiers I don't understand.
 
Algol while good isn't a terrible threat to Ivy. His bubbles are near useless with WP mode and other shenanigans (WP 6B is fun to CH with). I dare say the match may be 6:4, but no worse than 5:5.

And what can Algol do to ivy? He cant step reliably at all so he'll be flashing red first or 2nd round if not already getting poked to death. I'd say ivy is one of algols worst matchups. Let's leave the ivy matchups to the offline players.

Thuggish has it nailed down with his assessment of the Algol-Ivy Matchup. As a former Algol player Ill say it actually is his hardest by far. He has no good answers to her spacing game and even at close, where its more of an even battle he fails to dominate due to his mediocre speed and lack of blocktraps. Bubbles are close to useless and because hes not range during 95% of the fight he cant take advantage of his superior dmg potential either. Felt very uphill every time I played it. 7:3 for Ivy imho.

Oops i meant Hilde,Amy,Voldo,Setsuka. I was typing too fast my mistake ivy has the tools too punish algol very well.

Amy closes in fast that's about it you can step most of her stuff. CL Ivy can do this at ease as well as Hilde the other night i was steping amy so bad i couldn't believe it. Fellow Peers know her step isn't too good.
 
Teflon, thugish is just as much if not moreso an authority on Amy than even malek is with Ivy.

Even not counting that, I'll be straightforward: do your research. Comparing Amy with the rest of the cast, her step is -not- weak at all.

Edit: Oh, you mean she's easily step-able. There's a big difference in the two words.
