I meant B+KB series now seems pointless given how everything else has been buffed, damage wise. I dont think it does less damage =)

so not even the JF version is worth doing now? What has replaced it as Maxi's best NH damage tool? 66B?

What kind of combo do you get for landing 3B now?

@uber
I think B+K is still the fastest. Hopefully it doesn't have weird whfifing issues, so I think it will still have uses as a punisher at a certain range of blockstun.

3B -> 2aB looks like it could be combo. I'm hoping 3B -> iWS B is :D

3B 6A+B works, but that's not impressive damage here.
Concerning B+K maybe we didnt find everything about the move, but at first glance it's the same move as SC4. BT B+K still not guaranteed outside of stun combo etc.

PS : SC5 6A+B = SC1 2aB

that is pretty cool but that countered by the fact that a jGed B+K pretty much fills the opponents meter.

What I want to know about B+K is the push back on hit. That's what caused the whiffing problems, and made it nearly impossible to get a backwards ring out. If that's lessened and it's at least as safe as it was in 4 then I'm confident it'll be worth learning.

PGW 1/2 Final Saitoh (Maxi) vs Akire (Mitsu)

22_88 A, 6A+B looks fuckin BEAST!!

I just like how AA seems fast again, and AAG looks like it's safe again.

Edit: Yeah HRD I saw what you were talking about with the 22A 6A+B but from what people have been saying, I don't think that was 6A+B. 6A+B from what I understand is now his old WS A+B from SC4 and 6A+B is another attack I don't know the notation though. Also, he did the brave edge version of that second attack and that's why it did so much damage. But you're right, it did look pretty devastating.

Saitoh: I see that AAG looks pretty safe now, and 4B looks like it has good range, you were able to catch Mitsu's 4B at full extension. How fast does single A recover now, is it better than SC4? In SC3 single A was so fast that even on block you could continue attacking afterwards. Also what is the recovery like on 4BG? In SC4 it was unsafe unlike SC3 and before, is the recovery faster on that too?

I cant vouche what the command really is, I just assume its 6A+B. But youre right it was CH 22_88 A, but it looked more like a re-vamped 6A+B animation

I dont know the recovery on block but I know for sure I got some frame advantage after a single A on hit.
Never did 4BG too as 4B LO B seems to be safe now !

Safe LO B would be amazing. As it stands, 4B being safe is good enough for me, as long it's possible to hit confirm into LO B.

That's his new LI A(BE), a mid back fist to the stomach, his new 6A+B is his old 2aB, fast, but short range mid nunchaku thrust.

Apparently it was a button masher playing Maxi but I did see one thing from that vid that I like: WS K looks like it's back to launching the opponent to the height it used to in SC3,SC2 etc meaning we can probably combo 66B+K after it for good damage.

OR.... the new LI (BE) move??? maybe??
