That would be an awsome weapon. If I was a creator of SC5, I would take this idea into consideration XD

Yeah seeing them fight with food weapons like pizza will make me hungry 24/7 and will always have me ordering out papa johns pizza all the time. LOL you want me to be hungry 24/7 while playing video games =D

The new Tecmo x Namco countdown suggests a significant collaboration. I am expecting Ryu Hayabusa as guest in SCV, or perhaps a Dynasty Warriors character. I would think that the upcoming release of the new Ninja Gaiden game makes Ryu more likely. That means that we may soon have his cool new moveset to work with. A style of Katana drawn from the shoulder. Ninja style. That is a welcome addition for me. I want to say again that I am a true fan of this game. I feared the end after IV and am still grateful to the dev team for their great work so far on V. Patro looks really goood. That said. I ask the team to just consider an English Longsword. Using Link's old model would suffice if time and money wear thin. Sorry for txt wall. Thanks for reading.
 
This has probably been suggested already but two sticks a la Arnis would be boss. I guess it would be somewhere between Talim and Cervantes, though maybe a little less fantasy. Solid mid range, very fast, but shit damage. A big focus on dodging and parrying moves.

Cervantes introduced dual wielding, but I'm not too keen on his style. Rather, have this instead. A style that has the character wielding a katana and wakizashi - called the Two Heavens. This is in fact a real life style - and an ancient school in Japan taught this. And of course, it was what made Miyamoto Musashi legendary.

"Niten Ichi-ryū (二天一流?), which can be loosely translated as "the school of the strategy of two heavens as one", is a koryū (ancient school), transmitting a style of classical Japanese swordsmanship conceived by the warrior Miyamoto Musashi. Hyōhō Niten Ichi-ryū is mainly known for the two-sword—katana and wakizashi—kenjutsu techniques Musashi called Niten Ichi (二天一, "two heavens as one") or Nitō Ichi (二刀一, "two swords as one")."
 
Although it is rare I have heard there is a double sword (long and short) technique in Kendo.
 
They need to have a character that utilizes a shortsword and dagger. Kindof along the lines of Talim but they have a hilt and blade, not a protruding part whitch you grab onto and spin around.
 
Mina needs a Swiffer. Im imagining it now, all of the low attacks that would mop the stage.

Also, all joke weapons should come with their own unique attacks that the character can only use while they use the joke weapon. They should all have the same command (6A+K or something weird like that). I would love to see that. Sieg surfing on his surfboard across the stage or Cervy eating his kebob.

i like joke weapons but the ones that fit,the modern ones imho are ugly

Mitsu's boken
Lizard's ham
Rock's golden punch
Mina's golden slap
Cass bakery set (was so crazy killer red hood)
Talim's ocarinas

I hope this time they give to Hilde the classic knight tournament lance :D

lol, I believe that is currently Yoshimitsu's style + a flag.
