like 14-17 so sigs young baby self does count. But he was only young for one game. While talim and amy have been young for three and two games respectively.

yes, in fact my problem is'nt directly about this hinted boy

The thing i don't want is that they waste this GREAT opportunity to introduce many many new faces with the marketing limit of "must do all young and wannabe cool looking"

In other words,i hope they are free to introduce the best characters that they can do, and not be limited at the best group of flashy kids they can make

Said that to be fair at the moment the average age is'nt that low: Pat and Pyrrah i believe are 19 and 23,Zwei passed the 20s,Viola apparently 24(and being probably Amy,even more)... Natsu and Leixia are young,but who care,for fast agile type of girl char young fit well
Being all into the cool looking class (none of them is a freak or a giant muscle char) the average age is'nt that different from the holy SC1

So,maybe is this,more than age the new cast need his freaks and giants and other typical fight genre "class"
Great chara design is about variety,about create a group where cool warriors,cute girls,giant muscle guys, hot women, bizzarre freaks, old masters etc etc etc merge well and give the idea of great differences but at the same times to belong to the same universe and design

If new faces end up being just a "watch me,i'm teh coolest" contest,they fail at this

Btw i'm optimistic,actually they showed really few of them,and for obvious reason as first the most commercial ones
Again,as start i believe in Bangoo and Mitsu's brother,and i hope that are'nt going to be the only ones to be badass

Also because as long i understand that the new cast is a good opportunity to get new very young audience,is also true that who follow the saga from years is even more hungry to get new characters... and being 20+ years old probably is'nt
that much into the new girly boys/cute lil girls thing

So,ok pretty "I'm justice" wannabe heroes, ok lil ninja girls,ok lipstick gay pokemon trainers
All ok
But please Mr.Daishi, give us some badass brawler,some epic bitch, some stonehead huge warrior, some etc etc too :D
 
Can't think of any good weapon ideas, but I got a few good ones for joke weapons.

Ivy - jumprope
Talim - foam police batons
Valdo - giant pencils were his claws should be on the weapon
Maxi - wii mote + nunchuck(provided they get permission from Nintendo, which would be unlikely, yet be fun to see it happen)

That's all I could come up with! I also totally agree with InsanerBrainer's post about Viola having an 8 ball for her joke weapon.
 
For Viola: A foam finger and basketball.
For Pat: a trash lid and bone fish.
For Pyrrha: Feather duster and a serving tray.
For ZWEI: A stick with three handles.
For Leixia: Bread.
For Natsu: 2 Japanese fans for cooking.
And for Ezio: A broom.

My joke weapon Ideas.
 
It would be cool if Edge Master really used that Broadsword. Even if it just rotated randomly into his mimicry. Awesome if it would be possible to lock that style to him for enitre matches. Yet more awesome if the Broadsword style was our other CAS exlcusive moveset by popular demand.
 
Astaroth - a giant shovel
Maxi - glow sticks
Nightmare - slice of pizza
Mitsurugi - fishing pole
Natsu - chopsticks
Raphael - loaf of French bread


And 3 months later I still think Viola's joke weapon should be a magic 8-ball.
 
What about some biggamous giant weapons for Berserkers (Astaroth type). I gotta have me a weapon where I know I'll be doing the highest damage. Similar to the Kulutues or Great Mawl. I wanna wield more gigantic weapons. I love being the slowest, yet the powerfulest. n.n One where I can just lay waste & stomp my weapon hard against the floor & make earthquakes.

Anyone remember in some resident evil movie there was a berserker zombie that carried a Axe Hammer weapon? On one side it was an Axe & the other it was a hammer. I'D FUCKIN LOVE ONE! n.n Or maybe a biggamous spike mace (Bigger then Great Mawl or Maul w/e). I want you to make me laugh while charging at you, full power with big weapons. n.n

What about a joke weapon? (Grouper @ the end of a log?) n.n
