I think they got Sieg and NM backwards on that list. I don't recall mid-tiers having phantom blades that like to go through people and the CE that's just for show as it travels through your opponent for 0 damage.
 
Nightmare is NOT as good as Siegfried. This is not even an arguable point to me, so I'm not going to get into it.

Ivy is a very stripped down character with limited good moves. Her grabs are easier to break now, her 1K is more unsafe than ever, her 214B would be great, but it is unsafe on block AND disadvantage on hit, her 1B BE is just guard and GIable, etc. Ivy is either precisely where she should be or she's too high on my list.

any word on natsu nerfs? i'm sure they are coming i just hope they arent severe. i hope its just bomb and air grab nerfs because thats what most of the people who dont know her complain about, even though they arent really the biggest threat when you know the matchup.

she is so reliant on CH for damage that i'm worried a severe nerf will make her terrible.

god i hope we dont lose PO A:6 combos
 
^If they just lowered the 66B and Air throw damage I wouldn't care. Everything else seems balanced and reasonable to me. But 66B is just ridiculous.

I only heard something about "damage nerfs in general" and that certain combos maybe won´t work anymore.

Man, I always felt NM was overrated, but low tier? Wow.

I also don't know why everyone seems to know buffs/nerfs from the upcoming patch except me. I feel so dis-enlightened.
 
Lol tier lists. Why am I here right now?

Personally, I've had the toughest time against Xiba. Friggin 3A/3B. He's top tier against Rtown.
 
Maxi is the new Amy ^_^
No he is perfectly beatable if you invest a lot of time in this matchup. But its very hard and frustrating for newer players, I think.
Still Id hate to see him change. He is far from unbeatable, just hard to learn and master. I wouldnt want to see his stance game changed even a bit. I think his damage is ok too ^_^
I wish all character stances were more like Maxi's where you have answer to everything.

But of course, I dont know all matchups, maybe, for some characters, Maxi is truly deadly )

Somebody talked about Siegfried 3B. Its ok, but, just to clear this. Step + TC move will beat absolutely everything, except 3B - without going into stance.
Examples:
Seig vs Mitsu
3B] - 11BA

Sieg vs ZWEI
3B] - step 4A

etc.

But. Siegfried is not weak, certainly
And Ivy isnt either.

Top tier characters?
Mitsu, Maxi, Alpha, Nightmare - definitely
Most other characters look very good also.

Right now the really weak characters that stand out I think are ZWEI and Hilde. But game is new, so I dont know.
 
Agree with you on most of it, but Hilde. She is not like really strong, but definitively not that weak, she is just hard to learn and even harder to master, but she does have some nice tools :)
 
The damage on her CE and when she has meter with her back to the edge are the only things that scare me, everything else just isn't that good. =/

Well yeah, like I said, she is not that good, but not weak and yes her CE is scary, the best punisher on the game :D
