Other than those old wrestling games, its Street Fighter 2 on the SNES for me. If you were around during that era, that one was a must have.

But I love Samurai Shodown too! I discovered this gem when there was always a big waiting line for SF2 in the arcades. When Part 2 came around it rivaled SF2, if not surpassed it, as a favorite for me.

ya easily that Ninja Turtle fighting game on SNES, along with Turtles in Time i played a lot. Also Killer Instinct, MK II and SF II for SNES were all close.

i played Soul Blade at my friends house without knowing what it was, was all over Mina and her spinning moves of dooooooooom

Hmm, I can't exactly remember which one was first...... it might have been some Mortal Combat game like 10 years ago.

But SC2 was the first fighting game that I actually enjoyed playing. And the first time I ever played that was around 4 years ago at Walmart....

I guess I played Samurai Showdown just a smidge way back when, but this is my first fighting game that I actually played more than 10 hours or so. I'm learning. I still don't block, so my 60 something percent win ratio on line could be much better. I'm sure even the worst people from this site could beat me, but I've only been playing since June, so I consider myself "in training". The cool part of that is; I'm having a blast while I'm learning. I love this game :)

yeah it was nice when tourney was so popular with this game(Main:fox)but the broken in this game was Cpt falcon.(Huge kicks lol),also liked to play with Jigglypuff and Ness.

tekken 3. I used to think i was beast those days cause i could beat my brother by spamming kicks with hwo. Then it was DBZ budokai lol. Only FG i got serious w/ was SC4 and in the future T6
