Soul Calibur 5 Guest/Bonus/CAS Character Discussion

If they have to put guests in I'd want Ezio or Altair. They would at least make sense unlike the Star Wars ones.
 
how many colour settings are there? For most individual CAS items, there's max 4 colours you can edit. I'd like more.
 
Generally if you give more detail to edit, you compromise overall quality - eg. Oblivion.
Good idea, but there is a balance to be made IMHO.
 
for CAS they need more options for black people.(why I say black is because they have the most distinctive features in face structure + they have asian faces already) There are no features other then a fake looking afro and cornrows...c'mon... They dont give you any faces beyond cute anime baby 12 year-old ones or REALLY ugly ones...Thats why a face toggle/Editor is heavily needed like in Wrestling games.

Personally even if full of options i hate face editors,they ever end up being so anonimous and i think will probably don't fit with the realistic-anime style of official characters

But YES, need more faces, something like 10 caucasian, 10 african, 10 asian... but REAL 10,not same face+moustache, same face+beard as in SC4.
Oh and now i've said it,make an options for moustaches/beards... i need badass viking beard to do a decent Edgemaster! :D
 
I'm not 100% sure on who the guest(s) is/are, but the buzz lately is Lightning from FFXIII and FFXIII-2 will be making a guest appearence. If this is so, what would her fighting style be like?

Visual-wise, I could see her in her original FFXIII costume, same voice actress, ect. If anything, just make her a collab piece between Square and Soul. Call it fanservice to any Fantasy fans that would come with her appearence.

Mechanically, I think they would do a bit of a taste of the fighting style in her original game. Perhaps an Ivy-like fighting style, switching between "jobs" in the middle of combat, like Ivy does with her coiled, sword, and whip forms of her sword. There wouldnt be much of a stretch to make her like that, basically just using ivy style as a base.Three Paradigms could be used:

Commando: Focusing on powerful single strikes, stuns, launchers, and possibly magic as unblockables.

Ravager: Focused on long, low damage-per-hit combos, similar to Hilde's damage with her combos.

Sentinel: Focusing on auto-GIs and medium attacks that also reflect if attacked, similar to Xianghua's while rising B

This is just a prediction, or even a suggestion, on how she could work. Offer any suggestions, changes, anything you want regarding her POSSIBLE guest apperence in SCV
 
I could actually see this happening, considering the fact that Daishi LOVES the Final Fantasy series and briefly talked about it. Afterall, Lightning would seem to FIT in the Soul Calibur universe, unlike the stupid idea of adding Star Wars characters (don't get me wrong, I like Star Wars, but not when futuristic meets medievil times).
 
Yes, Lightning would be a great fit into the story. I would hope to see Lightning in SCV.
