Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

I'm just glad that if you put in SoulCalibur as one word on most social media searches, it'll give you the results for Soul Calibur as well.

As I've said before, when it comes to my main SCVI source, those are the only two new characters that I know of that I was explicitly told would be playable. Because that's the extent of what they know and have been able to share on that front.
There's the case of Maxi's lover that they told me about too, but I have no idea if he's playable or what his name is.
Now, if we're actually taking anything that "former Bandai Namco employee" claims, then the guy is and named Jacker. But you already know my opinion and skepticism on that person and why I'm not putting much stock in what they've said.

And from my main SCVI source there was that "big, dark skinned muscular woman" character concept that I was told about, which could make it into the game at some point, but that was an idea left on the cutting room floor from what they were told and thus I was told.
So I wouldn't count on her making it into the game at launch.
I still find it weird if there is no new female character added to the roster at launch on SCVI. That would be a first for the series.
But I've already accepted that possibility. Weird as it is to not happen for a change. We're at least prepared for it if so.

Yeah it's the emphasis on the 'fighters' part made me think because grøh is already mentioned and that makes leave only one new fighter to be revealed.
Come to think of it, it would be too obvious that there will be only 2 new characters if he said "and the new fighter" lol. Not that I mind more new characters or a female newcomer though in the end it's the style's solidity matters most.
I would rather have 2 complete new styles+legacy characters than have multiple half assed ones

They're definitely not dead, and the fact that they're taking their time means we've got big surprises coming our way (hopefully). But, like any other SC fan, the wait and anticipation kills me. Waiting is hard and boring but we've waited like 6 years, we can wait 3 more days.. or 10 days.. .or 17 days, and you bet your asses we'll get a new trailer on one of those dates so let's be patient.

I dont want the game to be overrun by female fighters. This coming from a man who loves women, once a fighting game roster has an over abundance of one sex than the other things get a little crazy.
I play DOA, Ive seen the effects first hand lol.
I actually like that there is a new (potentially two) new male characters. As from a design standpoint males are usually harder to make varied and unique.
Im still holding that first leak as true as up until it hasnt been made false by any reveal and it seems accurate. (Though I really hope Maxi isnt gay....)

Ive found that the wait and anticipation of a games launch can be one of the most fun parts of a games life.

Eww. You don't want the game to be "overrun" by one sex but it is by male fighters, so ?
+ what is the effects with DOA? People actually love it.
++ what is the problem with a character being gay straight bi or anything??? No offense but your comment is strange and can be offensive.
