[13] Hero
You know... now that i think back on it, i never once tried Rock's moveset on a female CAS to see how that would look/feel. Nor do i recall ever running into one online. Fighting Rock was rare enough as it is.

We get it. You want another female character. Move on.Plus, there's no freaking way they'd not put in a female character for "being too sexual" because just look at the female cast that's already in the game. "Too sexual" probably isn't even in the vocabulary.

Not saying, just saying.Well i guess they may not want too many of the females designed like that though.
Yeah, I guess I can finally say that I'm not a fan of a Japanese voice actor from SoulCalibur. Not really felling Azewls Japanese voice
Considering who gave them the idea for a muscular dark-skinned female character, I'm glad they never went with her. I'd enjoy having a character with that description on the roster, but not one inspired by a hentai artist. God knows what kinda dumpster fire of a design she'd get.
Couldn't have said it better myself.Personally, I have always held the Japanese voices in a much higher regard than the English ones (at least when it comes to Soul Calibur). They simply have outstanding voice acting schools and their actors are honed through movie dubbing and scores upon scores of anime.
However... Every now and then comes an Azwel to make me question my preferences. :) I look forward to fighting and listening to him. ^^
I'd believe that Rock died when his soul was drained by the Grand Priest to produce Astaroth, rather than to see a dark skinned big muscled female character be in the game. If she is in the game and to be formally alledged the replacer of Rock, I'd go to Japan to tear Okubo's soul into pieces. When you say "muscular dark skinned" I imagine this:

And... I don't want a character like that xD
I mean, the dark skinned elf JMSLionheart posted is good for a SC character (elf or not elf), but I don't see her as "muscular"
I hope SC 5 is the last game for replace characters :cI'd believe that Rock died when his soul was drained by the Grand Priest to produce Astaroth, rather than to see a dark skinned big muscled female character be in the game. Because if he is in the game (and he is, as he was shown in a flashback of SB-time in the very first trailer as an in-game model), then there is no reason for him to not be playable. Of course it would've been better if he was his own character with a mix of Night, Serv and Terror movesets (probably even with some of Algol, he is the embodiment of SE after all and sticking miniSEs from his body would be quite natural), but if he is a mimic - so be it. He is already done and there is no sensible reason to not allow players to use him (besides there is a few people that actually wouldn't mind having one mimic in the roster). Why do you want a mimic like Inferno to be playable?
I hope that all hair are.I hope Azwel's hair is unisex in CaS.
I'm of the opposite opinion on the matter ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)but not one inspired by a hentai artist
hentai artists often have a much better understanding of anatomy, female sensuality and a better attention to detail than others. This guy definitely knows what he is doing. Unfortunately, Pirotess looks just like a dark skinned caucasian woman, hairstyle and clothing included (I know she is an elf). She doesnt look like a poc and including anyone similar to her in the roster would be a waste of opportunity to include more variety with someone ethnic and appropriate for the setting and would additionally probably be seen as offensive. Why not? Many great artists began as a doujinshi artist (for instance Nobuteru Yūki). He is my favorite artist of all time.
In my opinion if anything they should take inspiration from Nobuteru itself for that new character (just look at Pirotess... probably the hottest dark skinned thing I've seen in Anime). Not only feminine, sexy and hot but also strong and good with the sword:![]()

At night she looks even better. No wonder she is the main reason why dark skinned character became a trend since then:

I would throw money at them just to see Pirotess and Ashram the Black Knight as a Guest.
Both characters would make sense in a SoulCalibur game (I would preffer them over 2B anytime), don't you agree?

Ashram is the man
Takuji Kawano was clearly inspired by this way of presenting the caracters in order to make art for characters in SoulCaliburVI.
Another example of what I am saying... Here we have Parn the hero from Record of Lodoss War

PS 1. Open the Spoiler before this phrase or you'll loose the opportunity to see what's the meaning of art.
In fact, Record of Lodoss War franchise has inspired many things.
I would say Sophitia took inspiration from the Lady of Pharis:

PS 2. The art for this one was made by Akihiro Yamada, another great artist who is a great reference for aesthethically appealing muscular characters.
