Ramus
[14] Master
You know? If they did bring Amy back, I wish they would make something like this for her designer. I get she is dressed as a doll in IV, but this is such a pretty design.

Not in the near future, no. SoulCalibur VI does not seem to be changing key events in the story, and Amy prematurely turning into Viola would be changing key events in the story. Viola is another thing that doesn't seem feasible until SoulCalibur VII, as it would be the aftermath of SoulCalibur IV that leads Amy to undergo her transformation. We don't even know how many years passed while she remained Amy, before making the change to Viola, losing her memories, and becoming a wandering seer. We also don't know when she met Z.W.E.I., or when the two of them joined Schwarzwind. But Amy would remain Amy until the end of SoulCalibur IV's story, that much is certain. So magic ball Amy might be a literal reality in the near future? Assuming she even makes it back for the Season Pass.
No, in the official character poll where Namco surveyed people on who they want to see in future installments of the game. Granted there is bias in this because people voted for characters who's moveset did not appear in SoulCalibur V and Aeon's votes were divided into Aeon and Lizardman. In it, Algol and Dampierre scored even lower than Li Long who had not appeared as a full character for consoles in 18 years. On the other hand, Viola scored higher than even Maxi and Z.W.E.I. scored higher than Rock. Z.W.E.I.'s score also equaled to both Algol's and Dampierre's combined. This is an official poll by the way and as I stated before, I'm not really big on both Z.W.E.I. and Viola, I'm just pointing to data.More votes where? In this ridiculous poll seen by the handful of people who post here? Come on, you can't be serious. You'll use the excuse that they have fans? So does Algol and Damp but you're conveniently drawing the line at what 4 or 5 votes to ignore that and include Zwei and Viola?
How about this, popular is popular. Unpopular is unpopular. Lets not create absurd excuses to claim our favorite unpopular characters carries more weight than others.
Ooooh! Thank god it looks well designed. The thing i hate the most in this game is how a lot of the male cast end up topless, without shoes and wearing old CaS pants.
This pic made me realize that if Amy does make it in her curls will probably come loose if her high armor breaks. You know? If they did bring Amy back, I wish they would make something like this for her designer. I get she is dressed as a doll in IV, but this is such a pretty design.

She had to wake up 5A.M to get them like !This pic made me realize that if Amy does make it in her curls will probably come loose if her high armor breaks.
A rag-wearing orphan wouldn't be trained with a rapier. If she does show up as a playable character, her story will take place late enough that she should be wearing fancy clothes like that.Amy of this time period is wearing rags in an orphanage
Right, and Amy doesn't get trained with a rapier until after SoulCalibur II, either, which is outside of this game's time period.A rag-wearing orphan wouldn't be trained with a rapier. I'm loving everything about the game except for, and I'm going to be brutally honest - the armour break system. It's nothing but gross, disgusting fanservice and I really don't want to play as my mains (most females) in nothing but what looks like beach clothes. It's really off putting and honestly I'm disappointed they felt they had to go this far with it. Soul Calibur has always been bold in exploring sexuality with regard to the presentation of its characters but IMO this takes it too far. That Seong Mina screenshot I saw just confirmed this point of view for me.
The armour breaks will never not look completely ridiculous. Just add some tearing to the outfits and call it a day, or better yet, add an option to toggle them on and off.
The problem with this, though, as SoulCalibur IV showed, is that having pieces that are damaged and not destroyed, they essentially have to make two variants of each equipment, if it is to be usable in customization. If we have to have armor break, which they seem determined that we do, if you want to be able to use the main cast outfits in customization, it seems a necessary evil to allow them to be completely destroyed, else it will take twice as much work, and with as strung out as it seems development is for these games, I feel like we would simply not be able to use the main cast outfits in customization, if push came to shove. The armour breaks will never not look completely ridiculous. If we're talking about a low vote contest, I would much rather have Li Long reworked with a three-section staff than any of those characters. Hell, I would rather see a new character (assuming his or her moveset is grounded on actual weapons and not too over the top) than these guys lol.
Mi-Na is objectvely more covered than Mitsu and you implied Mi-Na was the last straw. Which is weird when Mitsu has been wearing way less than Mi-Na post armor break since the first build.Nice attempt to try and point out a "double standard" in my comment, but you realise I never specifically said that the armour break for males isn't ridiculous either. I just said that most of my mains are females and that the armour break looks like they're in beach clothes. Never said it wasn't true for the guys either, but yes it looks just as ridiculous. Are we happy now lol.
I wouldn't be opposed to that costume at all. That's frickin' adorable! And makes her look more the ages she would be at this point in time. You know? If they did bring Amy back, I wish they would make something like this for her designer. I get she is dressed as a doll in IV, but this is such a pretty design.
