I think the pants are from 3 yeah. The mask and hair is inspired by a mix of his mask from the first Tekken and SC1, and his P2 outfit's hair from Tekken 4.

Marketing stand point it looks like to me. It starts off as PlayStation then goes in to the namco logo then trailer then credits which also has xbox as obossed to when its directly from namco there un biased to the both. So may be ms didnt like that. Trust me its the small things. I couldve def be wrong but also not impossible.
