Is it just me or does it look like he's doing SC moves outside of SC (his sword isn't glowing and that yellow burst looks just like a BE) here? Could be a yoshi specific thing or they may be bringing back BE moves.

Might just be a coincidence, but the gold flashes in those moves match the color of the "souls" he stole from his opponent. Perhaps a Yoshi-specific meter, where he can spend souls to do BEs. Just a guess, obviously.

This would be a lot more interesting than just getting health back from soul-stealing moves, hope you're right.

They don't 'accidentally' reveal someone on a Thursday , on the exact same time that those character reveals usually drop. It's probably going to be uploaded on the main channels n less than 24 hours.

Something tells me Yoshimitsu wasn’t supposed to be revealed this month.

It didn't surprise me that we got something else this month because Taki got revealed very early on. Trailers drop every 2~3 weeks and that's exactly what happened.
