Most of his moveset is just a Nightmare. They really only needed to make a model + a few moves and a CE. Which is apparently the same for Lizardman and Hwang. It's much less of a problem than you make it seem, it's just a harmless asset-reuse that gives us a fun to use boss character.
 
Another oddity I noticed was the lack of both Siegfried’s short hair and the Spiky Yun-Seong hair. The latter has me curious and really leaves me wondering about a Korean swordsman for DLC.
 
Not sure if this theory has been posted on here before, but I wonder whether this game takes place in the alternate dimension that Cassandra wandered into post SCIV after being trapped in astral chaos? That might give a story justification for the time reset rather than continuing the events after SCV...

Inferno being Nightmare but better and with more moves would be lame, it would simply make Nightmare obsolete, which is not good. I hope Inferno is still a regular mimic outside of Story Mode.
Not at all. In SCV, Pyrrha Omega didn't invalidate normal Pyrrha.
Either way, super similar characters are lame. Are we now supposed to prepare to wait until SC9 for Project Soul to properly declone Inferno? I would rather not go there to begin with.

Of course not, silly, you'll have to wait so long only for them to declone Abyss.
