Soul Calibur VI: General discussion

That's how it's been for literally years, though. That's understood. Online play is not and never will be the platform for official tournaments.
In tournaments I don't know of any game where a fully created character is allowed to be used. Like how would you even implement that.
Online ranked is a different story, a point system which rewards those who dedicate more time playing and manipulating who they play...And Yes there is also a skill base too.

Until we get an official statement on Lizardman, I will continue to panic!

SCVI has a list of NPCs in the museum. Hwang & Lizardman are on the list.

Rock isn't an NPC at all, but he's mentioned.

God forbid asking for my money to go into characters that actually add considerably to a game already looking pretty anemic. The roster did good by cutting down on clone weapons almost entirely, I wouldn't want it to start by charging me to ruin that.
Don't buy the game, I'm not saying this because I believe they don't need your money, I'm saying this because you sound absolutely miserable when you're talking about this game.

"It is conceivable that the White Giant may have taken to the seas once more and returned to the shores of his homeland."

Project Soul's thinly veiled assurance that Rock probably isn't returning to this stage of history, lmao.

Did anybody catch "Knight of Mare" in that one spoiler pic? xD Now I want to know who/what that is... it just reads funny lol
There's also "The Knight King", right above "The Hero King". I'm suspecting that maybe this king is King Arthur and the Aval Organization is related to him
edit: maybe the 2 kings are related anyways

Okay I'm actually SERIOUSLY worried about not being able to use CAS online, that's legitimately 99% of my playtime and reason for purchase, gone.
Dude do not worry about that idk where you heard that but i highly doubt you wont be able to use your cas online that makes no sense if they did that and there not stupid they know the up roar that would cause. Even so thats why theres a day one patch always to add in adjustments and make certain aspects more functional that didnt make the deadline. Have faith guys.

You'll continue being one step behind, because this infographic also doesn't mention the new weapon that was just seen a little bit before this post that I quoted above by T.Rex. But the real mysteries are never solved, so you'll always have work, I'd say.
Figured it would be obvious since you can clearly see the new weapon in like half of the screenshots. If the only argument against my conclusion that Lizardman is in the game is someone nitpicking that I missed a little detail that still supports the conclusion, then I think we're in good shape.

Now THIS is reason for concern. Have we actually seen Hwang as an NPC at all? From what I've gathered it's only been illustrations so far.
Also, are Amy and Cassandra anywhere in that list?

Just wanted to note Hwang and LizardMEN are in, not Lizardman and most certainly not Aeon Calcos. Not saying he is in, just stating it seems to refer to the race.

I still hope DLC can help here.

I don't believe this counts as spoilers since it doesn't directly involve the events of SCI/VI and it's just further expanding on some backstories but: I'm not exactly sure if it's sad or hilarious just how much Xianghua and Kilik's tragic romance mirrors that of her own father Xiuqiang and mother Xiangfei.
