I think it's funny how much roster speculation revolves around the 25 character slot "rule".
I'm fairly certain that the roster will be larger. Namco has figured out bigger is better....just look at the new SSB. Markman also stated that the roster slots on the E3demo version of the game are not final, just after the rule of 25 was just being cemented around here.
Enough with the rule of 25....boring...I'm going to go play tekken until october.

If/when Cassandra comes back whether it's base or DLC, I want her to have a bigger shield. Around the size of Azwel's magic shield:
Her moves have always been more shield based than Sophitia's and a bigger shield would be a great way to visually represent that, plus it would be the size of actual Greek shields. It also further differentiate's them physically. Just give her some of Pat's moves plus new ones and we're good to go.

I 100% agree with you and I hope, I pray for Setsuka's return in Soul Calibur! She deserves to be a playable character in Soul Calibur 6 roster!

I've been going on for years about how they should turn one of Sophitia's siblings (Cassandra or otherwise) into a spear and shield character. Shut the clone conversations down and bring in a major historical style.

It seems like they are heading towards more magical and less historical with each iteration, especially regarding weapons/styles. It sucks because I really enjoyed that vibe it had.

While I agree that the series is moving the slider bar more towards the fantasy side, I also think the level of separation from reality is just about right.
Ever since SoulEdge/Blade we’ve had an undead, teleporting pirate, a 16 year old in full plate wielding a sword that could rival what Guts swings around, and a blind, mute contortionist who can fight... somehow?
Yeah... not to mention the whole stabbing each other with lethal bits of metal and wood upwards of 30 times before knocking someone out.

Flawed logic, really. We've had three Sword and Shield users in every game since SoulCalibur II, between Cassandra/Patroklos, Sophitia/Pyrrha, and Lizardman/Pyrrha Omega. SoulCalibur III even had a fourth in Abelia.

I think there would be less complaining if with all the sword and shield combos out there it wasn't always small swords and shields. I mean seriously.

All but one of those blank spots is now filled.
Fact: Cassandra is nine characters long. The same number as Nightmare.
Fact: Tira as DLC will get her own story mode.
Fact: Regardless of whether you believe the leaks or not, Cassandra is unlikely to be a boss character.
Fact: There are three more DLC characters to be announced.
Speculation: Cassandra likely to be one of those DLC characters.

Speculation. We don't know 100% who is in which one of these slots. Reasonable speculation has been made, but, for example, there is contention over who is in the slot two below Ivy, whether it's Lizardman or Seong Mi-na. The slot below Sophitia is also unclear (Tira or Voldo), as is the one below Yoshimitsu (Voldo or Raphael).

It's annoying that everyone is jealous of Setsuka coming back in the Season Pass. I know your jealous that Setsuka, my favorite character is more important & is coming back way before Cassandra does.

None of what you just said is fact. It's all speculation. And still, not a single person has been able to justify Seong Mi-na's position between Cervantes and Astaroth. Every character in the listing is in some kind of thematic grouping with those around them. How, in any way, does it make sense for Seong Mi-na to be smack dab in the middle of the villains?
