Now that I am back home from Evolution 2012, I have been busy uploading all of the photos and videos that I have taken throughout the weekend. I've completed uploading over 400 photos from EVO 2012 which you can find after the break or on my Flickr page.

With the rest of the mods enjoying the nice, cool Vegas casino weather, I felt it was appropriate to update everyone with how yesterday's matches went if for whatever reason you're having trouble (like I initially was) finding the results/brackets, or maybe you're just new to the scene and not quite sure where to go for information.

With a full day off today (Saturday) before they finish out top 8 (Sunday), you gotta keep yourself occupied somehow, right? If you haven't been paying attention to the biggest and hypest tournament in the world, you'll be in for some surprises

Along with all of the hype and madness that was going on this past Saturday at Philadelphia Bar Battles #2, there was also two media producers that specialize in covering the fighting game community, who conducted interviews after the completion of the Soulcalibur V tournament.

MLG’s Summer Season has begun, and we are incredibly pleased to announce that fighting games on the PlayStation®3 (PS3™)System will once again be featured on the Pro Circuit.

Summer Fighter Arena: August 10 in NYC

The Season will kick off with Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibur V on the PS3 at the Summer Fighter Arena, a full day of action that will be streamed live. The standard definition broadcast will be free, and there will be an HD upgrade option (more details on this to follow). The Top 8 finishers in each game from the Spring Championship will be invited to compete for $3,400 per game.

With Soulcalibur V having over 400 competitors at EVO 2012 distributed across twenty-six 16 man pools, it gets kind of crazy trying to keep track of everything, especially if you are new to the competitive side of Soulcalibur V or unfamiliar with who the players are.

I decided to compile a list of every pool for Soulcalibur V and list the players to look out for. Make sure you leave you predictions who to look out for and follow the brackets online as they are updated.

Just like last year's event, EVO 2012 will be running two streams that will be devoted solely to covering the tournament action produced again by Team Sp00ky and iPLAYWINNER, and a third stream covering the panels that EVO introduced last year and bringing back again for this year.
