Nightmare Web Theater.

Yeah C2B is really good. The really long block stun makes it difficult to know when you are able to move as well. It feels like you are in block stun forever.

I got some work on the video done, will do more tomorrow. I'll put in some hilde...but sadly even if you step G her C2/C3 A she's still at advantage, so it's rather disappointing you might say. :(

don't expect it to look super cool, this is just a demonstration video for step G setups and how they are affected by opponent actions

Thanks Tiamat! I imagine that with step G the only threat after C2B would be the charge As or 6A+K.

I'm looking forward to the video. It'll be great study material for me. Thanks for the hard work!

Eltoshan: I tried some hilde stuff and after blocking C2B, you can step G to block C2/C3 A. she's still at advantage cause you block those moves but it's a lot better than getting hit, which is what happens if you do a normal step. you can step right to dodge C3 A but the spacing is really specific, and it's also risky because you can't step G it (so far as I can tell) only normal step

hteng: I'll put in some maxi stuff to step. I know his 6A and WL stance can be stepped, and his strongest damage step killer (4A) is a pretty slow high so you could certainly block that with step G

I already tried the step set up you suggested to me
It work really well. Thx guys =D

will be wait for the video
thanks for your hard work tiamat

oh... the move I'd like to see to be stepped is Setsuka's 33B
I just wondering it is step able or not
I have tried to step it. But I always failed X(

if I remembered I played with sieg
I already tried to stepped left and right but I can't

oh wait.
Is NM and sieg's step have a big difference?

There is a big difference in their step in some situations. Usually nightmare has a better sidestep. I will do some tests tomorrow.

After 11K or WS K, NM should be able to step G Setsuka's 33B to make it whiff, at least to the Nightmare's left side.

I didn't test it, so take it with a grain of salt. If Nightmare can step G i15 BBs after 11K or WS K, I think i17 33B should be no problem.

Nice music :)

...and yeah... that move is awesome. I just learned how to do the input, so I've only used it outside of combos. I think working on some of those will keep me occupied for a while. The CH WS [B| > NSS A+B > iagA will be nasty.

combos using it are really strong because it doesn't cause much damage scaling compared to other moves, since it's a single hit non stun move

how do you guys pull the JF consistently anyway ? i think the move is better used as a single move to take advantage of the frames, nice unique combos though.

Does iagA have the same block stun as a:G+A slowest input? I can't do iagA consistently at all, but once you get the timing for the slowest input version muscle memory takes over.

Edit: never mind, only the slow input is +8-10. What's the key to iagA on a stick?

lol I just made the transition to stick yesterday. I have to look down to see where I'm pressing the buttons if I'm doing the 2 hand agA. I guess I'll leave this move alone for a while.

If anyone's on pad, just map a right shoulder button to A, then slide your thumb from A to G on the face buttons and hit the shoulder button almost simultaneously. I can get it 85% of the time this way.

Chang's friend is gonna re-record this video

for two reasons.

1) the way he's doing the iagA for two hands is INCORRECT.... because he totally let go of the stick.. this isn't the way i do it... or the way he learnt it from me

2) he's making a one handed version as well... which i'm working on it myself..

i rarely post vids here because everybody knows where to find my weekly vids anyways... but here's a highlight where I used G+K when grounded for BT
