Look at the distance that vertical is hitting from. We all know BB in SC4 has shit range, that looks more like the range of SCIV 3B or SC1-3 B.
 
The move looks like it's ending in Left Outer, so I doubt it's the old standing B or SC4 3B. My guess is it's either 4B (would explain the range) or a much-improved SC4 BB.
 
THE #3 pic looks like LO B, I can almost see his leg twitchin cause hes about to do LO BK

#2: Krayzie, it does look like 88A to me but it's definitely not RO A.
The pic looks like he swung counter-clockwise while during RO A, he swings clockwise.

#3: Damn. That does look like the second B off SCIV BB. Jag, I hope it is 4B or LO B.
 
WHAT WHAT!!! MAXI IS BACK! BOOM BABAY!! LOL. on a serious note, i am now extrmely curious to see how he plays, i wonder if he is going to fight more like the fourth game or if he is going to be like soul calibur two. A lot of Maxi users beleive that he was the best in that game and some people dissagree. IDK im just ready to play as him and start whoopin people up because either way Maxi is a good character to play with! LOL

I've always been left to wonder what the deal is with Maxi's second outfit in every appearance he's had so far.

His secondary outfits are usually very similar (loose clothing and blonde hair that is longer than his default outfit). Wonder if there's a reason for the thematic design (like something I might have overlooked in his story).

It's kind of a fan favorite, I believe (I always use it).

From the screens to me it looks like 33A for both 1st and 2nd (looks high),. just shown on different angles imo
The other one looks like 2nd hit of BB
 
After playing today I believe it is the second hit of sc4 BB. Which means his sc4 B series is back. I really hope they improved it.I mean the second hit had decent range but the first hit was fucking garbage.
 
I think Maxi is the only character who has consistently had the same 1P and 2P costumes throughout the games.
 
I'd be ok with an improved SC4 BB too, but the old B -> RO series would be preferable. If they're building the characters from the ground up as I've heard in interviews, I'm not sure why Namco would be using SC4 Maxi as a starting point, since he is by far the least popular version among Maxi players. Oh well, keep an open mind I guess....
 
Maxi is a fucking badass, period. Glad to have picked him up back in SC3 as one of my mains. Definitely hyped about what his movelist will be.
