i gonna miss SC4: RO B .....SAD
Hope they make 3B has launch properties or replace it with SC4: RO B.. i love its knockdown properties on standing opponents plus this new RC A would make it look COOOL:) 3B stun RC A, B.:) instead
 
Why would u miss old RO B, it does the same thing and more :) it gives the same kind of knd stun on standing and leads to combos on CH iirc.

236 B is open
66A is not open for SC2: 66A. summersult can be 66A+B for all i care.
3A is open [ Please Please BL A for Steppers into Li Stance:)]

22K is very important right now cause NEw RC A is not scare if RC K sucks. Would it be bad if SC5:RC K was LO K now??

Free up 44B for something else and use SC2:style B2 input feels way more natural

Right now a Combo im seeing in SC5: AA into RC A into BL A into Li K, into wing sobat:) I dont know i can dream cant i:)
 
all right, so for the labor day weekend, Im gonna be picking this thread apart. Ill take a collective survey of what everyone wants and put it into a nice big post. I will be sure and put the names of those who suggested things by the suggestions you made. Ill will then make a nice neat presentable big ass post and present it to Daishi.

So if yall want to help me out. make ONE post with a list of your suggestions, Ill will plug away all weekend and make a nice presentation. I will let everyone proof read it to make sure thier voice is heard and is heard correctly.

The SC5 maxi threads are the MOST active of all the sc5 characters so far. We have a good chance to get what we want heard. Please make a nice easy to read list that gets to the point including all animations, move changes, frame data, transitions etc.

If yall are down, Ill be sure and put in work to see if we can get the best maxi ever

Here are some things I can throw in...
  • SC2's :2h:or:8h::bA::A::B:
  • Maybe the old SC :bK: command series can return = SC4's RO K
  • SC3--> For 8way footsies, an opponent may try to do a move on you that beats step. If the attack happens to hit high, Namco can bring back *:2h:, :8h:, :1h: or :7h: :B::+::K: for the 8 way input TC. * = SC4's :2::3::6: :K:

  • Since classic LO K was shown, I guess they can have :A::+::B::+::K: (or any other viable command) during any loop stance, to be Maxi's SC4 LO K.
  • If SC5 were to bring back the move (SC4's :4h::A::B:), the first hit could be an aGI.
  • I know people have dogging this issue out of the a$$ with this, but yeah... it's the whole :B::B: business. Now, I know most of the Maxi fighters out there say they don't want that SC4 version of the string in SC5 at all. We ALL looked at Maxi's screenshots. As just for myself, looking at that one particular shot regarding to this, I am at doubt about SC5 not having his SC4 string put in. IF they do, I'd say they should bring in both versions of the strings.
    Dust-a-Bust, along with many others, including myself, could do without Maxi's SC4 string. If anyone gave a scrap 'bout that string, DustbusterGF has however suggested if both strings are to be present, that the SC3 string command would be :B::B:; with the SC4 string command to be :Bh:.
 
OK here are my wshes:

-Both of his throws should do 55 damage points if he has still no command throw. Or one of his normal throws should ring out... Then 50 damage for that certain throw is OK.
-Old and Better/faster BB
-Old BA back
-Faster AA(seems like it´s done but whatever)
-Old 3B+KB back.
-4B safe on block again like it was before SCIV
-13 frame 2A(universal)
-66K plus on block again like it was before SCIV
-Make stance transitions faster or moves which lead into them better on block/hit!!
-And most important... RCA also known as Tiger pounce should be his 66A or something like that again!

Best would be just to implement SCII 66A...

Just Checked it has to be a :Ah:+:Kh:, :8::8: That jumps/quicksteps into LO.
Still holdin the :Ah:+:Kh: after the jump PSL3 into RO. PSL3 :A:Gi comes out quickest.
Gi frames starts in RO

In other direction. :Ah:+:Kh:,:2::2: That jumps/quicksteps into BL.

Example think 4B, LO B into :A:+:K::6: that GIs A and puts u in Li:)
 
ok so Im a little pissed. Ive been working fairly hard getting everyones shit together. I finally made a twitter account and test the message I wanted to send. Turns out you cant drop a internet link in a twitter message. Unless Im just retarded.

@Dustbuster.....I need you to make your one post of all the changes you want. Try to keep it all one color and stick to numeric notation as opposed to the symbols that you use. Those symbols dont translate into microsoft word easily and look all fucked up.

that goes for the rest of yall that havent made your post yet. If you want your voice heard then post up!! Yall have till the end of the day today. Cause once I figure this shit out ima be working non stop to get it to him!!

Make 236B knockdown on regular hit and give it SC2 properties. 3B+Kb like other games. kB like old games. SC2 66Ag. Make LO BK cancel into LO. The new 3A should be SC4 BL A. Give 2aB more range. Make 66B+K track better. Make 236K include commands 22_88B+K. Make 44B the old B2 again and make it faster and hit grounded opponents teching to maxi's right. Make his jumping B attack his old WL B from SC2. Make 22_88 KK the SC123 one with the JF at the end.

236K to RO optional or fixed? cuz if it did , we may not get combos. Then again old school RO B hit ground, so combos might still be there :D
 
Im still thinkng of while landing moves:
The while landing K is not intimidating anymore, would like to see Waving lights: :A: as a while landing Low.
and sc:2 BL B soulcrush into Lo as a while landing move.

11A as a full face to the floor Knockdown, tech trap able with B+K BBBA[Fury] :)

good idea, bad idea???
 
all right so I have awarded Maxi SC5 moderator for the time being. So tonight when I get home from work, Ima make a new nice and neat thread with your individual ideas in it (basically Im going to just move them from this thread to the other) and send it off to daishi!

So those of you who havent voiced thier opinion yet....nows the time.
