I was an A+ up until I stopped playing. then got back on after about a year. some girl came on as a C but she said after going through the room several times that she was really a SS. so that bumped me back down to an A-. got back up to an A and then haven't played since because I have a PS3 now. you would probably beat me though if you were an S. I always have bad luck against them. mainly have close matches and then I end up losing anyway.

Well I am all out of GOLD right now and saving my money for SC5 so well play one day... :)

see, my thing is, is this a full on cross over? or this just a cameo/guest appearance? I'm guessing it's just a guest appearance. still.. mind was blown when i saw that. will Doa X vf happen? don't know.. but i am hopeful. would love to see my girl Vanessa playing in doa form.
 
Anyone else find it ironic that a character from the 3D fighting game most respected for its technical aspects is mixing with the one that is ridiculed most for its technical aspects?

Anyhow I've alway liked the DOA series and I know people are expecting it to be a "casual fighter", but maybe having a character from a game as technical as VF will bring more credibility to DOA and give people hope that it will be a tournament worthy game. Let's just wait and see.

In the hands of people who know how to play well, it can actually be quite complex. But hey, at least you actually had a valid argument. Most of the arguments against DOA are that it is perverted, which is odd since boob jiggle is in nearly every 3D game in the market these days.
 
I can't say I'm too familiar with Virtua Fighter's cast. But the new DOA art style suits them and the series' ladies would fit right in. If it's just a single guest character then it's still a cool idea and a welcomed concept. I understand this guy's rival is a ninja. If he needs practice fighting ninjas he came to the right place.

Now all I need is Leifang to come back and I'll be getting this game.
DOA vs VF is a pretty cool idea, wonder if that's what they're aiming for or maybe he's just a bonus character.

Waiting on Helena for me. I'd probably get it anyways but if I see Christie and Helena I'll be a happy man. (My brother and I's old mains. It'll be just like old times if they're back).
 
i already know Leifang and Jahn Lee are making an appearance again. they both are very popular and iconic characters. in my opinion i think Akira fits better in DOA then any of SC's guest characters trying to fit in with SC. i doubt it's going to be a DOA vs. VF game. it's doing what soul calibur does. there is a VF game coming out this year and to promote sales they're putting Akira from VF in DOA. makes sense and i approve!
 
I'm too fucking hyped for this game now. Even though there's barely any information about it. Sept. 14 why can't you be closer!? DX
