well yeah i posted that before i knew 1B was i15...i thought it was i16 then.
I should rephrase, it's his fastest horizontal non weapon based mid, and therefor irreplacable :)

Best loop stance, hmm i like them all, but LI and BL are my favorite. RC closeby

3K is as fast as 1B.

Hmm, 1B still says i16 in the data. Either way, 3K is WAY better as it covers step, doesn't get GI-ed by Asura (among others), and gives you better frames on hit. Great move overall.

The frame data is wrong. A LOT of errors in the Maxi wiki frame data actually. 1B is DEFINITELY i15.

3K and 1B have different uses though. I use 1B for it's VERY VERY early TC (the earliest that he has and one of the earliest in the game) I also like it's pushout to mid range where i play most.

3K of course is your anti autoGI, and random antistep poke. When in doubt 3K heh. They both have the same data on block though, which is convenient

I also use a+bG, 22k, and WL B at times

Why don't y'all like RO? it's has a lot of damage potential and his fastest attack from stances I believe. the only thing I can find bad about it is that you can't delay RO aK to see if the a was on counter (I lose so much damage that way lol).

On any of the sections on the top right hand corner, there's a blue link that says "edit". After clicking that, it's about like editing a post. (Only kinda tricky part is you kinda have to navigate based on the move name rather than the notation.)

everyone loves RO
that's where RO A is hehe and RO K is important vs 2As, and RO B is just good. Very balanced stance, it's just not as much fun :)

at far block the bs drops to like -12!! i could even block Sophie's kick at tip.
Cancelling at the first spin or the last spin, makes it pretty much safe if the block it at tip range. Exciting news. At worse 236K is -14 and 236KG is -16. Both on close block. WORST case -14!!! for 236K, very exciting ;)

9. 2A it should probably be higher but I rarely think to use it.
8. 3K (good for interrupting.)
7. 3A+K
6. 66B+K
5. FC3A (almost any time I block a move that forces me into a crouch I retaliate with this, it's advantage is just lovely.)
4. 44AB
3. RO kick mixups
2. 11B (Good range, safe, a lot more damaging the it's animation would lead you to believe, almost anytime I knock someone away with something like BL KK or 3A+K I follow it up with 11B and I can't remember the last time it was blocked or teched.)
1. 4B (and all of it's LI/stance looping followups.)
 
A+Bg~RC A is sex. very long range, animation very deceptive, I find that a lot of people eat the RC A cause they blocked the A+Bg and think they have the advantage, but hahahaha no they dont!!!

Ill mix up A+Bg with K for ring outs or back to neutral so they never know whats coming next!! That is a top 3 move for me.

also you forgot 33Ba~RC A. that move should be a staple for any maxi player. at least the 33Ba should be, and I know you whore that out as much as you can

On block, throw out some speed mid(body attack, horizontal would better) such us Maxi himself's WS A+B, it pretty much shut down every RC options.

XD XD but on last game played with Millionz ,Tiamat. they haven't punished me badly when A+B,G got blocked ,it made my A+B,g setup worked well XDDD.

A+BG is one of those trash on paper moves, but in actual play it's pretty darn good. Ppl hesitate just long enough to make it safe sometimes. Eating the second hit on CH, is very insulting...so they normally just wait to see if it comes, by then it's too late.

A+BG is definitely one of Maxi's best moves.
 
That means you gotta do the full move sometimes though...:) And in all the vids I watch, i almost NEVER see someone do the full move. I usually do the full move when:
1) I don't cancel fast enough ( that's followed by me saying fuck and glaring at the xbox controller :) )
2) I'm looking for the RO facing the edge of the ring
3) I'm fishing for the CH.
I think i should use it more...it can probably be subbed in as a:
1) step punisher
2) block punisher ( its quicker than 6A+B, 66B, 6BB and does more damage on CH than all three ) Gotta be careful though, 2nd hit is -20 ( if the wiki is correct ) and that's pain territory.

That should do well to put the fear into them for the 2nd hit. :)
 
A+Bg i use a lot, but also there are some wicked uses for A+B. for example hop over a low (i do it to kiliks a lot) as you land A+B i find hits CH a lot leaving 51 damge for very little effort.

its also good to use traing the person, let them think you wont cancel it much, then right at the critical time cancel and destroy lol, like flashing red RC B, at rings edge RC K. it annoys people
 
3A+K is bleh
FC 3A is bleh too :)

I didnt think that 3A+K was that bad. However its something I hardley use. Mostly cause I just dont remember to. I guess if it was a great move I WOULD remember. Just not one of my favorites either. Its got TC frames all the way through it almost, it RO's in the right places and knocks down

I do however like FC 3AAA. If Im forced into a "block of my life" type situation I find that stupid move will get me out of it and goes right into RO if Im not mistaken.

now talkin 9_8_7 B, 4A.......or something like that....those moves are bleh to me!!
