Has anyone mentioned Attack on Titan yet?
cause... you should have mentioned it. and if not.. shame on you.
one of the best animes out right now... seriously.

you should be watching that show.

right now.

but here you are.. browsing this forum.
ask yourself, what kind of anime fan are you?
to be missing this greatness?!?!

then I asked myself this question..
and i said..

good point.

Currently, yes. AoT is pretty damn good.

HOWEVER!

The manga is nowhere near finished, so it will likely end how BTOOOM! ended: resolving a major plot point near where the manga is, but leave it open-ended enough to piss everyone off because a second season/reboot wouldn't come for ages.

Isn't that the beauty of it? Anyway how far is this going to go? Full season 24-26eps? Or half season 13eps?

I came in here to see if everyone was loving this show already. I think I am currently in love with "potato girl", Sasha Braus.

As for the show's run length my brother informs me that they have greenlit... 32 more episodes? Can that be believed?! I don't know, but what we can divine for certain is that there will be at least 22.
Anime scriptwriter Noboru Takagi (Baccano!, Durarara!!, Kuroko's Basketball) revealed after the first Attack on Titan episode aired on Saturday that he personally wrote episodes 8, 12, 13, 19, 21, and 22 — thus revealing indirectly that the weekly anime will last at least half a year or two cours (kūru).
[Via Yaraon!]

So full season run looks like a good bet.

random thing.. I was in LA a couple months ago. I was there on business, so I couldn't really get around, but I think I'll be heading back out that way sometime this year. you tryin to get up?

OLD BUSINESS
You might be right if you knew who you were talking too. Even then i think you're WRONG. I've never hesitated to share anything. Blah blah blah.
So what happened here? I seem to recall a version of this post that began "to some extent you have a point.". In any event, excuse my comment, it was meant for sane people. I did indeed forget who I was talking to.

NEW BUSINESS
Oh, btw. In case nobody heard, the game that always wanted to be an anime is going to be an anime. Like the velveteen rabbit proved, with enough love anything can become a reality. Except your marriage to Genesis Rodriguez. Sorry guys, probably not happening.

Blazblue anime!? Dreams do come true! (hopefully not nightmares) While fighting games and animes have had mixed success with producing viable offspring, Blazblue might have a leg up on most of the games that have tried so far. Considering it actually has a story.

That version never existed bro.

Also BB anime is awesome. Can't wait for the one Bang fight and his inevitable removal from the show.

I'm enjoying Attack on Titan, but the fact that episodes end in cliffhangers consistently is getting old. I mean, no one really likes cliffhangers, but I don't think it's a good for pacing, especially if it's every episode.

Idk man, the premise is pretty fresh or at least it's something I haven't seen before (Albiet that premise basically is giant zombies).

... BUT, this pacing can suck a dick. Episode 10 is 15 minutes of waiting for a cannon to reload while predictable "character development" happens and 7 minutes of actual plot. I don't think I'm being too jaded here. This cannon scene was basically an episode and a half with it starting in episode 9. This is definitely dragging much, much harder than it needs to.

So, every comedy I watch this season either really wasn't, or has stopped being one.

Henneko? Went into really dark territory the last few episodes.
Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru? Well, never really an out-and-out comedy, but still...
Hataraku Maou-sama? Same as Henneko.
OreImo 2? Episode 8. Just... Episode 8.

It really says something when the most light-hearted things I'm watching are Katanagatari and Fairy Tail.

Attack On Titan
Gargantia
Naruto fillers.
still need to finish guilty crown..
anything else worth watching?
