Who else here hates Thanksgiving?

I killed my whole extended family a long time ago. I just hang out with the people who live in my house today.
 
I never particularly cared for the holiday either. Not only do you have to spend time with your family (which, in my case..isn't too pleasant for the most part), but it's just a day dedicated to eating. Yeah, you're supposed to be "thankful", but how many people truly believe that's the reason you should celebrate it?

Most people I've met, including my family, celebrate it as a day where you should stuff your face with as much food as possible. It's maddening, really. I don't particularly care for food, so that makes this day even more stupid to me.

The only holiday I even care for is Christmas.

And no, it's not because I get to celebrate his birthday.
 
I know your pain, i was forced to eat and was treated as a outcast because I ate two bites of turkey and flooded the floor with barf

i'm at home with my wife, and no family. laying in bed at 5 o clock playing WoW, while she makes me chicken and mashed potatoes...so i can eat in bed.

other than being sick this is the best thanksgiving ever.

Why in the hell would I hate Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving = home cooked food

I <3 home cooked food.

The only thing I dislike about Thanksgiving is the borderline forced family bonding. However, as long as I'm stuffing my face with that delicious home cooked food, I don't give a damn.

Thanksgiving is ONLY good for the food. That's it.

Yes, but the food has to be good. I'm sure your family cooks delicious meals every Thanksgiving, but mine makes crusty mac and cheese, old ham, cheap-ass turkey, and stuffing (hate it).

I suppose I need to find more talented cooks to prepare my Thanksgiving dinner.
 
Yo I just got out of dinner and shit I went back for fourths. I mean, I basically cooked everything except the mashed potatoes which someone else brought, and everything was pretty much FAWKIN' AMAZING as far as I'm concerned. Football all day and buckling in to watch the Eagles play, those stupid fucks, but hell I love football so lets see it.

Three cheers for Thanksgiving, bitches.
 
I went to a Thanksgiving gathering once where they served full racks of baby back ribs as the meal. No turkey/stuffing/potatoes, just ribs. Go to those parties instead if you hate it so much.
 
no beef with the holiday but this years sucked hard for he. got stuck working so i got to spend the first half of my day dealing with sick people who speak little to no english, then my dinner got postponed since i was going to have dinner with my sister but she got strep so my real thanksgiving will be on sunday
