I disagree with you regarding music and costumes in SCV. In SCV costumes were horrible especially Killik, Patroklos, Siegfried, Natsu, Xiba, Leixia, Raphael, Algol. New characters looks like some anime trash in SCV. Stage music is bad it's not SC music, i could not listen this music i immediately replaced it with SC3 bgms.
So do you think SC4 costumes are better?

^He meant Evo Japan, not Evo (USA).

Evo Japan is in January

I don't think we'll hear anything about release date before March at soonest.

Since the game was just announced a couple weeks ago and it's said to only be 70% finished I doubt we can expect a release date before winter of next year. It wouldn't even surprise me if they delayed it until early 2019.

I'd say Spring for the release Date announcement, or maybe Summer at the latest. This game can definitely hit in 2018, maybe even during Summer 2018, game is already in development since 3 years and is on 70% WIP.

Depending on the timeline for SC6, I'm really hoping that maybe we get to see or play a little bit as the human form of Lizardman/Aeon Calcos. If I remember correctly, he'd only recently transformed in SC1? I think it'd be pretty interesting to see bits and pieces of his life before then and it seems like this game would be the perfect opportunity to give him that never-seen-before character development.

I also took it to mean these are the most basic characters in terms of playstyle. Since Mitsurugi got so much stuff back I'm guessing that their other returning characters are sure to get that same Okubo stimulus package.

Pretty much this.

I doubt "building the other characters around Sophitia/Mitsurugi" means anything other than "both have accessible playstyles that are easy to get to grips with and thus we used these as a baseline to determine what styles would be harder/easier to learn/master.

Not "everyone who uses S&S", not "nobody else will use S&S" and certainly not "only characters who knows these characters personally will be added".

Gameplay is the core of any fighter and thus the roster has to primarily built around it - It makes sense to have a starting block with which to work from. Final Fantasy XIV does the same when it comes to balances classes, jobs, fights etc. They're all scaled around the Dragoon job, which is easy to play and hard to master. Different games, different genres, but same philosophy.

They could even slap on some of Pat's old moveset, then Aeon would be my super-favorite character.

He would probably be the only character that wouldn't piss people off if he took two slots, because of how different he actually looks and (likely) acts after he transforms into a lizard. Adding his human form would also give us a chance to see a lot more of his past and give him some relevance, because he didn't have any despite his appearence in so many games.

I don't hink any of Patroklos' moves would fit. If anything, they could give a mix of Patroklos, Link and Abelia's moveset to Lucius or Rothion and add one of them in. Granted, Lucius was a baker and Rothion was a blacksmith, but Sophitia and Cassandra were not fighters before they got their weapons, so why not, right?

My favorite Ivy costume was the George Washington uniform from SC2.

Why not? Only a few of Pat's moves actually resemble his family's style, and Aeon--like Patroklos--uses a lot of more agile attacks as Lizardman, perhaps some of that could come from his pre-transformation style. I think it's a better idea than creating yet another S&S Alexandra out of non-fighter characters.

What Okubo means is the ease of use of characters, damage, & utility.

Patroklos' moves are more disciplined, while Aeon's are more feral. Unless we're talking about human Aeon, then Patroklos' moveset is much better in another Alexandra/Alexander.

Keep in mind that Okubo mentioned he felt they modeled Sophitia in a beautiful way and gave her some cute charm. Her animations for her super move definately support this (conveying much more showmanship/swagger than the SC4 critical finishes):

Sophitia shields herself from her opponent being cooked by the sun and catches her own sword with a twirl
Mitsurugi's pose after the opponent plummets back to the dirt as if he's trying to flick off the blood from his flaming katana looks real cool too

All of them were fine for me except number 3, that hooker shit was ugly af. Please do not add anything like that again, the fuck was that inspired from anyways?? (plz don't say Mrs Claus)
Number 3 looks to me kind of 80s disco... xD it looks abit funny to me and it was pretty usefull for Creation - - - but thats all ^^

Yeah, I do remember :) sorry I didn't mean to sound aggressive or anything I just really disliked how they had such a good 1P in V and then ruined it with that thing.

Also,
Your first post in over a week and it's a one word reply with no attempt to even discuss why you dislike the idea. Thanks for posting!
